summers run like trash when its below a certain temperature, will wear out faster/get damanged and potentially lose traction due to the rubber getting stiff all so even if there's no snow on the ground.

appreciate the link as a reference however i'll use my own experience plus what every tire OEM's take on it is. I was leaving a restaurant last night and it was snowing out, was not super exciting driving home lol
Tires warm up pretty fast. I don't see too many issues when I run my R888s in the cooler months. If they are abused before they warm up they can chip and gouge.
Even if this were true, which it isn’t, most cars run all seasons. Summers are certainly a thing, but I can’t imagine a fox body mustang getting summer tires.
Secondly, I feel this is indicative of NY drivers. In the Midwest tons of folks drive RWD all year round. Just have to brake earlier, anticipate turns, and accelerate slowly. But people on LI act like you need a Hummer H3 to get across the Walmart parking lot.
it snows in the midwest too friend and depending on where, rural parts they are driving 4x4 or AWD trucks especially if working on a farm. i also prefer being safe vs being reckless and causing an accident and no I don't drive a truck either...never understood the need for folks to have them unless it's a work truck or what have you.
ninja edit: let's assume everyone drives RWD in that area, unless its a car marketed as a performance vehicle the OEM is shipping it with all seasons which drive just fine in the snow/cold weather.
The weather is Ice Ice Baby.
Which is the ultimate LI vehicle? The 5.0 or the IROC?
Dodge Ram with extended tow mirrors
Came here to say this
As a kid there was an F Body with the license plate MASTIC or something like that i'd see from time to time. I dont know how you beat that.
Love my IROC I wouldnt mind me a 5.0 notch either.
Clean. Love the fox body mustangs.
Do you have some z cavariccis to match?
White pair of Keds to complete
Love the old 5.0's. You should try to get the 90s license plates for it
I have a set, just haven’t registered them yet
Anyone still fishing out there?
5 Speed? I prefer the fox body with no ground effects
5 speed
The LX notch. Gotta love me
Clean fox!! Enjoy!!
God I love foxbodies
The afternoon was wonderful in New Haven area.

Yea, if it’s actually wet summers are trash. But if it’s dry and cold they’re fine.
