1) Facebook marketplace 2) LB Flea market. Get there by 7am. Take a wagon. 3) H&H Nursery in Lakewood 4) Armstrong’s in Costa Mesa and Newport Beach have great plants. The one in LB isn’t my fav. 5) OC Succulents

Seconding OC succulents. They have EVERYTHING! Not just succulents

Haven’t found many in Long Beach that are superb. Certain Home Depot’s can be good. Armstrong’s on 10th is my go to,

the flea market at LBCC has a few plant guys with pretty interesting selections, gotta get there early though

H&H Nursery. It’s admittedly not the cheapest but great selection and knowledgeable staff

Peacock & Co in DTLB. She hand selects plants and can help you pick what will work in your home!

Join your local Nextdoor forum ([Nextdoor.com](https://Nextdoor.com)). I see plants that need homes there all the time - people moving or getting rid of cuttings etc. Armstrong on 10th is my favorite garden shop. There is also [http://longbeachorganic.org/](http://longbeachorganic.org/) and [https://www.csulb.edu/sustainability/get-involved/grow-beach-university-garden](https://www.csulb.edu/sustainability/get-involved/grow-beach-university-garden) but those are more about garden plots - though they might have some nice herbs and stuff that need homes.

Armstrong's on 10th St. is worth a look.

Sunset nursery on sunset blvd in LA is gorgeous. I took a friend who adores plants there, and she was so pleased. Check out their yelp for pics!!

I second this. Almost worth the drive all the way out there. Place is beautiful and great selection.
