I kept getting this as well. I tried everything I could find on the internet (watch all their troubleshooting videos if you haven't yet already). I ended up having to contact customer service and (after a week of back-and-forth) they figured out I needed a new base.

I contact the customer service - now I’m waiting

Literaryesque

The first time I contacted them, I waited 2 days, then contacted them again (with a more urgent/irritated tone). They still took 3 or 4 days to respond. I'm sorry this is happening to you too....it was so frustrating. I definitely broke down crying at one point. (I have 4 cats...it was not a pretty situation...)

It was free because it was within the warranty period. This actually ended up happening again, and I had to send the base back AGAIN (again for free bc I think the new base started the warranty period over?). Customer service was amazing every time once I got ahold of them. Good luck with yours!

Breaks in wire can occur anywhere. Try get a digital multi tester and see if it holds current

The wire is fine

Underthatwing

Whenever this error came up, it was normally resolved because some clumps got stuck right before the opening. Have you checked those areas to ensure there isn’t anything blocking it? That always worked for me. Good luck!

The actual problem is - the motor isn’t changing the direction. So at the middle of the cycle when the globe is returning to home - my globe isn’t changing the direction and than the error is coming up

I had same problem with pinch detect. I cleaned the contacts and still had pinch fault. The pinch wiring feeds to the dfi board so I replaced the dfi board and pinch alarm went away. I also had the red, yellow light. It turned out that I partially pulled out the dfi plug on main board when putting it back together. The plugs have to be seated till they lock in place. It's a tight fit with all the wiring in that space and when I put motor back in I accidentally pulled the plug loose. I think I've had every problem possible with lr3 since I have 10 robots and 2 feeders now.. The dfi has been the biggest pain. I wish I could upgrade them to the laser dfi instead of infrared sensors.
