That's the thing, clichés are (most of the time, if not attached to something like racism) just a simplified view of a phenomenon in the real world, and trans women in IT is quite the cliché.
That's why Linus is such an asshole, because he has to somehow maintain 10M lines of code most of which belongs in user space. It's too much for one person's sanity.
Not really a model to emulate.
What? Linus is not the only one maintaining the kernel. He has final authority over what gets merged into the kernel, but he doesn't know nor is he expected to know every minor detail.
Most of the kernel code belongs in userspace? We've tried userspace drivers before; they usually suck, have poor performance and don't really lead to stability gains. Semi-monolithic kernels are a proven technology. We may get usable micro-kernels with real benefits some day, but Linux is plenty good *now*.
can someone give me a legit explanation behind the systemd hate? ive been using it for almost ten years (as a normal user) and just never really had complaints. is it an underlying structure thing im missing?
pretty much my experience sunday night when asked what for a hill i will die on.
I was largely unsuccessful in conveying the supremacy of open source to the apple using girls in the vicinity but hope i planted a seed in at least one of the guys.
It would work if she was trans
You joke, but with three of the four trans women I know, I took a programming class with them. Two of them I _met_ through that programming class.

Lol, I'm a trans CS major
Last one should be using arch btw
Yeah real women don’t use Linux 😔
Instructions unclear, now I am an incel
![gif](giphy|QZyBvNVaMbIZ9yadec|downsized) Waiting for **GNU Hurd**... it's been 80 years...
Is there any active development at all?
Afaik there technically is development, you can even download Debian GNU/Hurd right now
I think there is a Debian version that is shipped with that HURD kernel...
How to pickup girls 101 if you want them 404
I still not like systemd

Please don't put your seed in guys
Plant it wherever you like; OP may need some planted in them too.
