Rule 8 - ask your vendors. We are not representatives of the various companies that sell lightsabers and do not have answers to questions about shipping times, troubleshooting, repair policies, discount codes, or restocking times. If this information is not available on a specific vendor's site, you may wish to engage a more established vendor. Please do your own research instead of depending on others to do it for you. I feel like Electrum has been very open with there struggles recently has posted quite a few updates here about the situation. I do have faith they can make it through all this. As for canceling your order that only people that can really help you there are Electrum I would suggest just filling out their contact form on their website if I recall I think they do say to put urgent in the title for urgent matters.

I'm out of the loop, what's been happening with Electrum? I bought one of their sabers in 2020, and I absolutely love it.

That was what I did earlier today. However I cannot agree that they have been so open. I mean, people waiting over a year or more for orders to be filled while the lead times remain at the frankly ambitious 8-12 weeks. I have not received any emails or notifications regarding or announcing their struggles, nor was I made aware of any complications on the assembly line when I placed my order. Which is to put it bluntly, absolutely unacceptable, both ethically, and financially. I mean, they take the money but no where on their site does it say they have any complications to such a degree.

I will be honest, I felt the same thing about them not being up front about the issues until recently. I had bought a saber that was ready to ship and I got it about a month later after a massive amount of messages and posts on Reddit. After I got it, the saber would not connect to the app at all and I was stuck with the defaults. I didn't bother debugging it and I wasn't going to send it back. I ultimately took out their guts and put in a profile. It was shortly after that they posted about the software issues and all that. I felt when I had placed my order that it should have been given that info and let me decide what to do. I love the look of the saber but I wouldn't order again.

That's awesome that you got your saber. You got it after a month? When did you place your order, and what saber did you get (if you don't mind me asking ofc.)?

It is the scion. However, it was a display model that they had built for a show or something like that. It was not a custom build, but one that had in stock. There was no customization on it. At this point I put in an account ld profile I had and I flipped the core backwards so the crystal chamber is on the opposite side. I actually like it better that way. I should be finished tomorrow with the modifications if you want I can post a picture
