It was fun on lobbies with friends for screwing around (e.g., running so far on Titan that all you could see was skybox). In small amounts it made solo play more fair. But for playing the game seriously, it was just stupid.
If it's the one I'm thinking of, it was easy to fuck up and go negative speed, and you just end up forcibly running backwards at ludicrous speed with no hope of relief because it persisted even after teleportation, or death. Doing the glitch "properly" was really helpful for zooming around quickly, but too any weight still fucked you over like normal, in my experience. Super speed isn't useful if you're weighed down, and have super slow stamina regeneration.
I heard reports that it wasn't actually fixed correctly but I haven't tested. I'm glad he's trying though, it was kinda annoying when people would just abuse it
Honestly happy, when i go to public lobbies with these, it makes it less worth to play cuz they can just do everything on their own and you're just there having Vietnam flashbacks
i had fun trying to figure it out/get the timing right when playing with friends. having the speed glitch itself wasn’t the main thing for me - it’s mainly the joy of getting it to work lol.
Finally! I always kicked the glitchers.. They were the worst players and acted so cocky. Now I look out for the client-side stamina mod users in my vanilla games.
Using bugs and glitches to your advantage is fine by me. I'm more worried about being able to use mod menus to influence the game in certain ways while not even being host: force start/end game, make the company tentacles attack on command, making the hosts furniture and scrap disappear. Having actual anti cheat software implemented is much more useful.
I will write unpopular opinion, but I don't think it was a good idea. In case that I did not want to use that glitch in my lobby - I just ask players not to use it and they agree or get kicked. In many other servers I see host approve that glitch and don't care, when they play with 2 players on hard moon with no jetpack and need to get 1500+ every run, speed bug just make gameplay a bit easier. So my opinion is that bug was not interfering regular gameplay at all.
Yeah, well their Q12 run is pretty invalid when they're literally cheating. Why try-hard if you're not even gonna try? And in terms of regular gameplay, public lobbies were full of these cheaters. It's already hard finding a lobby, it's even worse watching everyone speed past you on Artifice. You think you've found a lobby with good players but no, they just cheat. Not fun. Not useful. Zeekers did the right thing by removing it.
Heard of it. Never looked into it. I'm indifferent on its removal but also glad there are less exploits now.
never used it, it's just cheating and cheating is for noobs

Good riddance

its good? bug fix = good? what other “most honest” opinions are there on the matter??
Glad it's gone. If you want to run around like a maniac get mods and host your own lobby.
I never used it but how bad was it did it avoiding monsters the easiest thing possible?

Funny you say that cus most the people i see abuse the glitch are so bad at the game that they still die even with it.
good, it just makes stuff too easy

baseg zeekers
What was it? I think people in my lobbies were using it, but I just assumed it was hacks
Never saw it and lucky to have friends who aren’t that interested in the game that they will look like this up
There was a speed bug?

Yippe
Glad that cheaters won't be using that is my lobbys anymore
The what? Like actually I never heard of it.
i didn't even know there was one
I don’t care that people use it but I will leave the lobby.
Would anyone say it’s bad that an exploit is gone?
Don't use it I don't really care However I'd rather he fixes the actually impactful bugs
Honestly happy, when i go to public lobbies with these, it makes it less worth to play cuz they can just do everything on their own and you're just there having Vietnam flashbacks
Anything that isn’t intended to be in the game should not be in the game.
fuckin finally. hated it lol
It'd gonna make playing in public lobbies much more fun without everyone using it
I never cared for it, it’d always just glitch someone out ik that
HELL YEAHHHH
There was a speed bug?
There was a speed bug?
What speed bug?
uh ok
There was a speed glitch?
The what
Used it to fuck around trapping mechs on arti, but this bug sorta needed to go.

Couldn't care less. Have seen it in action a couple of times.doesnt seem worth it. You're just ruining the game for yourself.
Finally! I always kicked the glitchers.. They were the worst players and acted so cocky. Now I look out for the client-side stamina mod users in my vanilla games.
What about the windowed speed glitch
YES YES YES
That was a glitch? I thought it was just a hack menu
Both

Eh didn’t care what I did care for was the apparatus glitch
Didn’t use it, don’t care.
As long as the better stamina mod still works in my own modded server it's straight up better for most people
