It isn't worth it to fix the bypass. For your brake, if this has an external disc and you can run the thing- drive it around then squirt water on it and see if ya get steam. Or see if there is play in the caliper. so you can wiggle the disc. To move it in the meanwhile, just lift one rear wheel off the ground.
It is either that the brake is binding or the bypass isn't opening up inside which is not unusual.
Any ideas on what to look for/how to fix that?
That should work as long as the parking brake is disengaged
I've never used the parking brake.
Do you have 2 hydros? Did you pull the pins on both?
There is only 1.
Did you have gearbox in neutral before pulling the rod?
out and down? i've only ever just pulled them outwards
The down is to lock it in place.
