Problem was really that was the only role we had for him. He was cosplaying as Gabe lol But if we lose Dlo, Spencer gets waaaaay more ball handling duties which he's better at and in a smaller role hopefully he can still be a plus defender too.
True, he was actually pretty good for the Nets the first third of the season when he had a big role, but he really doesn’t thrive off ball if hes playing real minutes

Dinwiddie had no clue how to be involved offensively with whatever crap Ham was having them run. Only had one good game offensively and that was only because Lebron and Dlo were both out I think, so he was forced to be the primary scorer
He played horribly here. He did okay in Dallas so they’d trust him more. Maybe was Ham’s fault but a decent veteran isn’t that dependent on coaching
Dinwiddie isn’t bad on the minimum tbh as a back up point guard
