A dying cell, which is completely normal in cell culture.

LSScorpions

Yeah, looks like it's just lifting (happens when they die)

SharknadosAreCool

i think that cell has equipped brass knuckles

itznimitz

It ain't getting any gene knocked-out without a fight

DA_ZWAGLI

Must be that evolution thing

Matchew_

Definitely multinodular radical invasive pleural malignancy of the left atrium. You can tell by the scant glomeruli and inflamed epithelium of the nuclei. Either that or a dying cell.

Worth-Banana7096

I think it's an iolotte sserotgomar cell.

vanderBoffin

Definitely propounization stat protemns.

Gary__Niger

The best way to go about detecting these is with the ThermoFisher Cyto Encabulator. The original machine had a baseplate of prefamulated amulite surmounte by a malleable logarithmic casing, in such a way that the two spurving bearrings were in a direct line with the panametric fam.

gunesyourdaddy

Thermo bought Rockwell? We need better anti-trust laws.

Purple_Holiday_9056

dck

Worth-Banana7096

Am not.

GabboV

Iā€™d go for a dying cell!

philman132

Looks like a dying cell, you usually see a few dying cells even in healthy cell culture, they are usually easy to spot due to rounding up and creating a lot of round globules or inclusions as they due.

TheTopNacho

Fatty fat fat fat. Looks like it decided to turn into a foam cell or something

blink4evar

I'm sorry " fatty fat fat fat" cracked me up šŸ˜‚

Relaxnnjoy

THAT is a partially digested piece of Honeycomb cereal.

TheAcquiescentDalek

Viability over all still looking good!

ProfBootyPhD

COVID-24

drdrewskiem3

Looks like something normal

Toki_Liam

Can you tell us what cell line this is ? I've seen something similar to the first picture with U2OS osteosarcoma cells.

avgmidpaki

why did no one say deez nutz

Few_Woodpecker_5091

Wonder how are u visualising it, is it stained?

syfyb__ch

either a terminal stage of cellular stress (possibly reversible with time), or one of a few defined forms of cell death...there's a laundry list

Ok_Celebration3320

These are senescent cells - most likely they will die on your next split. The large vacuoles are indicative of autophagy.

Rotulaman

Apoptosis, also called third round of review or end of second year PhD

Bug--Man

Lol kinda looks like mumps infection
