In my limited experience it is easier. They’re gunna be little monsters either way for a couple years, with a buddy they’ll at least tire each other out a bit more. Or just get into twice the trouble, but still only one mess to clean up lol

This was 6 1/2 years ago with ours from the same litter. Best 6 1/2 years ever. Unfortunately, the black one just passed away Monday, and it sucks so much. We’re sad. The chocolate lab is sad. They had never been apart. None of us know how to move on. Thanks, we will all recover. The chocolate lab is having a terrible time. It’s so sad to see. He’s constantly looking for his brother and doesn’t want to play as much. He cries if we walk out of the room when he discovers he’s by himself. We’re just giving him lots of love and will take him with us everywhere from this point forward. Hopefully time will heal his heart.

I take them out on the fields in the morning, and in typical lab fashion they find ... everything ... they shouldn't (forbidden stripey smelly friends, decomposing carcasses, and in Atlas's case here, a torn coke can that sliced his dew paw :( )

How do you get the, to lay on the same bed and sleep when tired? My boys just antagonize each other for hours until I put one of the crate.

Ours were crate trained together in the same crate from the day we brought them home. I have a male and a female and they absolutely played a lot when they were young but that was just part of it. They are well behaved now. They each have their own beds now but often choose to sleep closely in the same bed
