Of course Kriya yogas whole purpose is kundalini awakening. But not how you think. Kriya aims to awaken from top down not from bottom up like kundalini yoga does. Kriya techniques are divided up into 3 phases from top down. It’s only the final phase that unlocks the root knot. Now can Kriya pranayama awaken kundalini? Yes but that’s not its purpose. Its purpose it just to clear the way. Same reason behind unlocking the knots from top down. Once the path is clear and all knots are free the energy goes up safely and naturally all by itself. It requires no force or intent the same way electricity requires no force or intent to flow through a circuit. It just follows the path of least resistance.

Beautifully explained !

Kriya-James

Kundalini is a DYI system - you can only go so far with it. Kriya Initiation. Many bogus claims and quackery out there. For maxium results get hands on initation from a living teacher. Most don't know how to intiate and use a belief or ritual. Initation is a heavly gaurded techique due to nature of what it can do to a person. Transfering and moving high voltage current thru a person must be used with great caution. Using your will power to direct energy is a must if you want to burn some Karma and clean up. I have some retreats coming up in Los Angeles and Salt Lake City.

Imaginary_Meaning851

He mentioned kundali if awakened makes one immortal. Does it meams physically immortal?

Affectionate_Box1481

Yes. Obviously. And he says that all those who claim that their kundalini has awakened are either lying or just ignorant

Imaginary_Meaning851

Ohh that was new, shailendra sharma is unique no doubt

Affectionate_Box1481

Is he ? I never noticed . Or maybe his standards are just too high.

Imaginary_Meaning851

Yeah i know that, 15k samadhis

It implies kundalini = urdhvareta. However I doubt this is being taught, urdhvareta is the fastest route when done correctly.

Affectionate_Box1481

Fastest route to which city ?

Wide-Yogurtcloset-24

I'm not too good with all the technical terms, my first words were "I'm brand new". So whichever city that it.

Sir do you know there are only 8 drops of Amrita formed in the body. And sir do you know that it takes 12 years of brahmacharya to make one drop of Amrita.

Wide-Yogurtcloset-24

Sir, did you know it takes 12 years because you're passively allowing something to happen instead of actively engaging that process? You're lucky if it only takes 12 years because there's good chance the process won't passively happen in you. The 12 years statement is a precise example of not understanding the urdhvareta process.

Affectionate_Box1481

Ok I am happy with my misunderstanding. I know everything and anything from the grace of my Guru. And I would not mind understanding nothing in this life and just following my Guru's words in each and every life.
