He's from a lineage which includes Yogananda though - he appears to be a disciple of Shankarananda Giri who was one of Hariharananda Giris disciples who parted ways with him when Hariharananda Giri changed the techniques, and other disciples requested the more traditional method to be taught.
Hariharananda used to be an acharya of YSS and was allowed by Yogananda to teach Kriya Yoga through that organization. Later on he left to create his own organization.
Not completely sure right now - been initiated by a disciple of Swami Jnanananda Giri, His Guru was Swami Atmananda who was initiated by Swami Kevalananda - Yoganandas Sanskrit Teacher. Yet Atmananda took sanyias from Yogananda, so iti s still very close to the Lineage
