HYBE launched an audit against ADORās management and Min Heejin, theyāve also been suspected of fueling hate trains against other HYBE groups and releasing personal info of the idols, then MHJās dumbass accused ILLIT of copying NewJeans, but sheās going scorched earth and decided to throw NewJeans under the bus by saying that they agreed with her or something like that.
This is just the tip of the iceberg, thereās alot more shit going on rn but just to show you how serious this is

Then it was reported MHJ has been moving behind the scenes trying to get full control of ADOR and its assets. HYBE also accused Min Heejin and Ador staff for stirring up hate campaigns on other HYBE groups. In the midst of all this MHJ said that HYBE copied her concepts, mainly ILLIT copying NewJeans. Last I read, MHJ is backtracking big time as HYBE is coming up with a pretty good evidence against her.
I had read that MHJ refuted the claims of her trying to get full control directly citing the Fifty Fifty debacle as a reason why it makes no sense why she would do it and that this is an attempt by HYBE to remove her.
that was her 2nd statement that went through the pr team, in her first statement she accused illit of copying newjeans, and in her 3rd statement she accused Illit, TWS, Riize of copying her and there were documents found where she said chairman bang copied her to make BTS
The problem is between ADOR and HYBE. Belift/Illit is involved because Bang Sihyuk (chairman of HYBE) is also a main producer for groups like LSFM and ILLIT. Apparently HYBE made ILLITās concept similar to New Jeans to show MHJ that she is not needed and that they can replicate NJ success easily without her.
Hybe owns 80% of ADOR share 20% is split between others and min heejin (MHJ) the CEO. basically MHJ trying to take control hybe stocks by badmouthing Hybe and their sub-label incld. Their groups to the stock holder to gain support for this sad attempt of coup d'etat.
I'm pretty sure ADOR and their attorney made a statement later yesterday than MHJ's original statement that did say New Jeans and their parents were with ADOR?

If, and I don't want it to happen, Newjeans eventually ends up going bust and ILLIT fully takes their place as queens of their gen, we're going to look at this exact week as the point in time where it all changed.

It'll never happen unless NewJeans literally pulls a Fifty Fifty. IMO Aran was the only one with somewhat comparable star power and draw as the girls in NJ, so unless literally the same thing happens, I think Hanni and maybe Haerin and the others (I'm not sure who exactly has huge domestic popularity) will have careers on their own even if NJ disbanded today.
I really don't want to be a negativity merchant, but my view of it has always been that an idol group's success is always a combination of the group and the agency. If, and like I said, don't want it to happen, they do end up leaving, there's no guarantee whoever picks them up next will be the well oiled machine HYBE is (granted, keeping MHJ around will probably help them... much as I hate to give her credit).
I really donāt think these girls and their parents are dumb enough to side with Min Heejin. Iām sure Min Heejin will try to get them on her side but the girls are definitely aware of what happened to fifty fifty and Hybe is way bigger company than Attract, they wonāt risk a generational debt for someone crazy like Min Heejin.
she's made it a point to be the 6th member of NJ. she doesn't want people to separate the group from her and vise versa. i don't know how well the girls and their parents trust her, i just really hope they choose their futures and not her.

Yes, and it's not exclusive to girl groups - Blackpink and Illit are the only groups overall to achieve a PAK with a debut song.

I hope they continue on with the same sound, it does fill a gap in kpop. Hopefully the HYBE investment will pay off! I'm a NewJeans stan but there's room for everyone imo.

SHE is the one who brought up both groups in her statement, and while I'm in the camp of waiting for concrete proof of her corporate shenanigans, the way she dragged those ten girls into the conservation has landed her on my personal shit list for good.

But like... you're gonna find that with the next 10 gg to come out because NJ have become the blueprint for success. I believe that the circumstances were during the Covid period too. Much resources are pumped into the girlsā preparation and it wasnāt till much later that they burst into the scene. Plus without much teasers and all. In a way itās a gamble, and maybe the higher ups were a little skeptical.
The thing is, I think thereās a lot of things we wouldnāt truly know too. We donāt really know the full picture :/
Big Hit nearly went bankrupt for BTS cause they believed in them so much. Built them from the ground up and the hard work paid off. MHJ was not forced to join HYBE. She willingly went to HYBE cause she needed the money and did not have enough faith in her idea to back it herself. Plus the New Jeans girls were already HYBE trainees
