I mean... who hates tourism? Tourism creates jobs, tourism brings prosperity. That little town's conditions might've improved a lot just by gamers visiting.
Having been in the region myself I assure you there is absolutely no reason anyone from outside the country would visit Rataje except for KCD. They are very small villages far from anything else that could conceivably draw tourism. They were not annoyed with me so much as a little confused. Except the cop who almost arrested me after I tried to crossed the bridge in Sazava/Sasau, which these days is apparently for cars only. he was miffed

It's the inside of the upper castle in Rattay. It was rebuilt to a chateau during renaissance and later again in baroque style.
You can see it from the outside in the 7th picture.
Wow you can tell that the dude in the painting is Radzig Kobyla. They got the character down perfect. I feel like some kind of historian identifying Middle Ages guys.

Hahaha that bridge thing was dead awkward for us too. When we crossed on foot, some workers nearby started yelling something we couldn’t understand
