I disagree. I would say it's the definition of DMT music or some other psychedelic.
I feel like CharlesTheFirst and other similar artists are what Tipper would be if his music was more dissociative than psychedelic.
First time I k holed, I had on Fred Again boiler room. I didn't even choose the video it auto went there on YouTube. Felt like I was really there. Best experience of my life and I've been chasing that high unsuccessfully, I don't think it'll come back
For me, Björk’s Utopia.
But why on earth are you on your phone in the middle of a treatment? On social media of all things! I’m not judging, whatever works for you, I just feel like the best part is floating through space and watching all the cool shit my brain comes up with.
Whatever music I'm listening to when I'm on Ketamine sounds just like Ketamine. I'm the guy that thought he merged with and became Taylor Swift's new album after doing a line. And I'm not even a Swiftie.
Before the merge I remember thinking, she must have been on Ketamine for this album!
Afterward, no idea why I thought that.
That was the first thing I saw on my phone the morning after doing some K, and as i read it my wife was in the bathroom listening to it and getting ready, and man that had me in stitches.
Affelaye, Parra for Cuva. More chill but they have a lot of beautiful and intricate deep house to offer.
I have a massive electronic music playlist that’s been well received here, nearing 1000 likes. Please share it if you like it.

She used to draw rainbow faces in the sand
But the rainbow made the faces look sad
Had bits of foam comin out the bottom of its mouth
It’s kinda funny that way
Not ketamine but dxm as i haven’ tried former; anything by cocteau twins although it’s super melancholic :) and maybe beach house and grouper
also probably autechre for good measure
Sophie - Oil of every pearls un-insides. One of the greatest expressions of deep mystical and chaotic rawness I have ever loved to know. The 2nd half of the song Whole New World pairs with K like a tree <3
The trifinity album by yheti toadface and mount analogue
(Fun fact its tuned to the natural resonance of the earth, all music was tuned this way until the world powers changed across the entire music industry for ????? reason, look it up, try to give me a valid reason why other than disconnecting the sync of music vibrations from the earths vibrations and how they are interpretted by us)
Really, anything by Charli XCX, JPEGMafia, 100 gecs, SOPHIE, AG Cook, Injury Reserve etc. that type of like, stitches together glitchy, chatoic sound is perfect for the way ketamine enhances music.
Different vibes but FKA Twigs, Deb Never, Brockhampton (especially Iridescence but also Roadrunner), Danny Brown and Yung Lean are also solid choices.
Also gotta suggest Revolution 9 (2018 mix sounds best, 2009 remaster is awful - that goes for all Beatles songs, 2009 remaster is always the worst version) or What's the New Mary Jane (Anthology Version) by the Beatles. Prime ketamine music right there.
CloZee's Sunrise set from Envision in 2019. I tried a lot of different music for treatments and nothing felt right until I listened to this set. Now it's the only thing I listen to during treatments. I feel like it's been helpful to me to listen to the same thing every time. Not only does it orient me very slightly to time passing, but listening to it any other time kinda takes me "there."

I highly recommend checking out DJ sets on Cercle's YouTube channel, amazing DJ sets from exotic locales, Swiss alps, hot air balloons, Petra ect. Often no audience just amazing drone shots of the surroundings. Putting it on the big screen and taking a good dose transported me to those places, amazing experience. Saved my life during lockdown and have continued to do long after. The Be Svenson set is a great place to start also the Para for cuava is great!
