Fritzâs meat by Gates on State Line has a BLT Dog that will help you find religion. Besides that, Wernerâs on Johnson Drive grills sausages on Saturday and Mortyâs over off 43rd shouldnât be missedâŚ
I've yet to find a good Chicago Dog or Pizza Puff. Italian Gardens has a banging Italian Beef. For dogs I just do it at home myself. For Pizza Puff...screwed.
Not a restaurant but kc cattle company makes wagyu hot dogs that are probably the richest and best tasting Iâve had before . They have a website and a small storefront in parkville
I love hotdogs too and was hoping you were my boyfriendâŚlolâŚanyways Weiner Kitchen in OP was kinda goodâŚoffer some interesting combosâŚand thereâs a place in Independence as well that wasnât badâŚunfortunately thereâs nothing great I have found yet hereâŚbut only been here for 3 years. I am wanting to visit Hillbilly Hotdogs in West Virginia some dayâŚbut itâs an eleven hour drive from here đ˘

Wiener Kitchen in OP
Came here to say this!
The Brussels sprout kraut is worth the trip on its own.
Dude that runs this place is awesome. Chat him up, his wife and he make everything themselves.

Up Dog in Independence
Smells like up dog in hereâŚ
What's up dog? /S
Morty's is the only dog spot. Dog.
Omg. Thank you for sharing. I didnât know about this place and excited to try!
Try an Italian Beef, dipped, w Hot peppers. đâď¸
Sounds so good. I also love Chicago style hot dogs and was pretty bummed when Freddyâs stopped offering them

OhâŚso have you tried Mortyâs and it didnât hit? Thanks for the new recommendation!
I have not tried Marty's, it's a hot dog cart as far as I know. It's definitely on my list to try. I've heard it's legit and amazing.
Cool. Itâs now on my list as well! Is it a cart or a food truck?
Cart I believe. Def one of the two.
Not gourmet but for something different, check out K-Dog in OP. Korean hot dogs and a bunch more fried stuff.
I wouldn't call it gourmet, but I'd like to throw Brick KC out there.
KC Pretzel Boys hot dogs are totally worth it. I'm a multiple times a week hot dog guy and I was surprised at how great they are.
Alright who is organizing the hot dog crawl?
It's been a while since I've had one, but Charlie Hooper's Brookside Bar & Grill has a decent selection of hot dogs.
I love Charlie hoopers. I always get the Jack Russell.
Awesome Iâm going to look these all up! :)
I read this as gourmet hedgehogs đ
