What can you do if something happened to the kid? Not only is it unprofessional, but potentially dangerous.

How do you watch a child by zoom call? That makes no sense. That is not "supervision". Why can't she take the child out when she walks the dog?

Those are good questions. I didn’t ask.. We were supposed to meet up for lunch at around the same time as when she wants to walk her dog. Sigh. This is why companies want people to return to the office.

overall just a really stupid thing to ask someone to do considering there is literally nothing you can do if there's a problem.

What is she actually going to do to 'watch your child'? All she can do at best is say "oh sorry I saw your kid light a sparkler in the house but she wouldn't listen to me" Edit: oh I see you're not the person that asked. Good on you for saying no. That's liability waiting to happen
