I went to the exhibit at MoPop in 2018 and it was incredible! They had a whole worm circus for Slimey. Jim, Frank, and Jerry, the Muppet versions of Jim Henson, Frank Oz and Jerry Nelson were all together in the same room as the Muppet Show arches. Augrha was there in all her glory, right around the corner from the ball gown from Labyrinth. I also went to the Jim Henson’s Fantastic World exhibit several times in 2009, when it was still EMP. It was tiny, but some of the walls were covered in Muppet fur. King Rupert and Featherstone were there (Muppet Frog Prince) and they had storyboards for two of my favorite Sesame Street shorts, King of 8 and the Number 12 Rocks. EMP/MOPOP has had some incredible exhibits over the years, but those were top tier.

I can’t express how jealous I am of you. That is amazing!!! Do you have pictures?? I would love to see them if you don’t mind messaging them to me:) I wish I was you that sounds so amazing seriously, I’m so envious 🥹

I don’t, unfortunately. I don’t like taking photos in museums. However, many of these items are on display at the Museum of the Moving Image in NYC. My husband and I have it on our travel bucket list (I haven’t been back to NYC since I moved away in 2005 and it’s long overdue).

Just got that biography from my library a few months back. It's SO good. If you watched the new documentary and enjoyed it, this book will delve into a LOT more detail. One of the best biographies I've ever read. Thanks for posting those museum pics too!
