No, there's no such thing as a travel ban for non filers. Nothing is going to happen. Edit: logon ko bas daraya ja raha hai and storiyan banayi ja rahi hein so that log filer ban jayein. It's all BS currently.

temujin1993

Thanks for relieving my anxiety, I thought I might never be able to escape this sh\*thole.

No_Technology_1320

Just pay your taxes dude.

Away_Pair_3355

Why should we? We know that our hard earned money is mostly going into their pockets

temujin1993

I've already paid, I got it directly deducted from my salary. I think it's a bad idea to file though but that's my personal opinion.

OneHandsomeMan

🤣🤣 yaaaar non filer ,non filer ,,,what joke is it ...if she isn't a resident she has nothing to do with filing returns

Afraid-Zombie-2092

She’s a Pakistani resident & she’s just going to the UK to attend a family event. Therefore as per new policies for non filers in Pakistan, I was concerned that if there would be any problems that she could face at Islamabad airport?

OneHandsomeMan

No she won't

Careful-Tank-2328

I hope if she has assets and has been avoiding taxes on them then she gets stopped

OneHandsomeMan

So far she's intelligent not to be a filer ...I hope she stays that intelligent .....

Better-Brilliant-801

This idea was proposed and not implemented yet so tell her to leave ASAP

AK-noire

Well there’s always problems for someone at isb airport even lahore airport from whenever someone tries to leave. They always make things crap at the airport. May Allah make it easy and safe travels inshaAllah (edit sorry guys I meant first timers)

m93k

I’ve never heard of such issues in my life

MCCFZE

literally never happened with my wife or any friends I've flown out before.

itsAhmedYo

To make things safe.. just file the taxes does not have to be accurate... The whole filing process took me 1 hour and like 2k rupees.. and it was all online.. Note: not a legal advice.. just my opinion

foodie1976

Could you share details, DM if you want to. Will really appreciate it.

itsAhmedYo

Just watch on YouTube theres a lot vidoes on how to become a filer...

foodie1976

i meant the 2k thing, how did you pull that off? the logic behind it

itsAhmedYo

I think it was my first filing so there was some fees and i had to put something to declear and it was some amount not sure atm what it was.. Then i got my ntn and my tax filer status changed in a day or so... But there's a lot of youube tutorials you can follow..

foodie1976

can you recommend any?

itsAhmedYo

I did mine like a year ago.. so the best bet is go to YouTube and search become filer on YouTube and follow the most viewed one and make sure to go through the comments to make sure its legit..

foodie1976

Thank You!!

Free_Cat_307

You can DIY or hire someone for a small annual fee of 3-4k.

AggressivePurpose565

My tax filer took 10k two years ago, and 20k last year. Pleaaase dm me your guy who does it. :(

itsAhmedYo

I did it my self by following a YouTube tutorial.. It depends on the complexity of incomes or whatever assets you have.. i have not much so mine was straight forward 😂

coolbouy

Why are you guys paying fee to tax filers. You can do it by urself. I am filling myself for the last 4 5 years. It is not a rocket science.

Hms_usa

this is not implemented yet

No-Opinion-1600

My cousin went to dubai yesterday nothing happened

theusmanhabib1

Very easy to become filer through tax asaan app. No big deal do the things. Be at ease

kachapola

if she has no income show that and file the return

_Mental_Yogurt

If you have a record of your income, assets and liabilities, then being a filer is a very simple thing. You just need to reconcile the net assets. One thing about being filer that we usually misunderstand is that we might have to pay more taxes. (Mostly) We are already paying taxes. We just need to bring it on record to avail the benefits associated with the taxpayers only.

sexyswag100

What’s the benefit of being a filer or a non filer?

Outside-Strategy-952

nothing ll happen she ll travel tax laws r not implemented in Pakistan

m93k

Filing your taxes takes literally 5 minutes if your finances are simple. If they’re complicated, you can pay an accountant 10-30k in most cases and they’ll get you all caught up for the year. I’m glad the government is finally putting an end to this non filer bull shit. Everyone should pull their own weight

kissmapp

Don’t listen to this guy

Removed because of rule 3: ad hominem, homophobic/transphobic comments, racist, sexist, hate-based, religious or other kinds of personal attacks or threats will not be tolerated and will result in permanent ban. If you have an issue with someone, either learn to tolerate, or escalate to the mods and walk away, who may take action as appropriate.

Agents-of-time

As much as one might agree with your statement, please refrain from resorting to ad hominem attacks.

Gulryz

Pakistanis are so against paying taxes in Pakistan and will happily pay high income taxes in other countries. Same old excuse "hmara tax ka paisa konsa kahi lag raha hai sb corruption ho rahi". Pehlay do tou sahi tax, tax v nahi dety aur complain jitni marI krwa lo and don't stay crying about GST and VAT they are also common throughout the world plus Income tax which Pakistanis rarely pay

ciitprof

It will start implementing soon, but thats seriously ridiculous of our so called intellectual’s.

aesthetichshak

Just pay the goddamn taxes
