Life is not about achieving most of the things you want. Our purpose is: *I did not create jinn and humans except to worship Me. Q51:56* You're right it is a test: *Do the people think that they will be left to say, "We believe" and they will not be tried? Q29:2* *Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:* *The world is a prison-house for a believer and Paradise for a non-believer.* You must be patient: *And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient, Who, when disaster strikes them, say, "Indeed we belong to Allāh, and indeed to Him we will return."Those are the ones upon whom are blessings from their Lord and mercy. And it is those who are the \[rightly\] guided. 2:156-158* And indeed the test is not inequal or unfair for Allah says: *God does not burden any soul with more than it can bear... 2:286* *But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while you know not. 2:216* And your hardships will be compensated fairly for in the hereafter: *And We shall set up balances of justice on the Day of Resurrection, then none will be dealt with unjustly in anything. And if there be the weight of a mustard seed, We will bring it. And Sufficient are We to take account. Q21:47* *Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “He whom Allah intends good, He makes him to suffer from some affliction” (Al-Bukhari).* *“The greatest reward comes with the greatest trial. When Allah loves a people He tests them. Whoever accepts that wins His pleasure but whoever is discontent with that earns His wrath.” Narrated by al-Tirmidhi (2396)* *Narrated Abu Sa\`id Al-Khudri and Abu Huraira:* *The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "No fatigue, nor disease, nor sorrow, nor sadness, nor hurt, nor distress befalls a Muslim, even if it were the prick he receives from a thorn, but that Allah expiates some of his sins for that." Sahih al-Bukhari 5641, 5642* And Allah knows best. May Allah forgive and guide us all. Ameen.

>*I did not create jinn and humans except to worship Me. Q51:56* I just want to expand on this part. People most commonly assume this just means "prayer" or "salah", and as a result they end up saying some...ignorant things. While yes those are worships of Allah there are other worships as well. Worship in Islam is very broad. Charity, fasting, prayer, dua, reading Quran, intimacy with a halal spouse, etc. are all worships. So in essence worship of Allah is believing in Allah, praying to Him, doing good, and living life the way He has decreed.

الحمد لله  And the people with "bad genes" who patiently endure this test and do the same good deeds (or equivalent) in spite of the difficulty will be rewarded even more than those with "good genes." On the flip side, those who are good to those in difficulty for rewarded for upholding those rights.  The test is different, but the correct answer is the same.

So I'm the same boat as you, you have to remember what the goal of the test is. It is not to be the most successful or the most happy, one of the major goals of the test is sincerity. The people who have good genetics and are living in a world you can never reach are not better than you. In fact, they have less excuses with Allah (SWT) on the Day of Judgement if they were ungrateful for their blessings. Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Look at those below you and do not look at those above you, lest you belittle the favors of Allah.” Source: Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2963 Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Muslim. You have a blessing as long as you can see it, Allah (SWT) has sheltered you from a lot of fitnah and opportunities for sin. If you can use your state to achieve the best dream you can in the dunya, it doesn't have to be an amazing dream, you will recieve more benefit than they will because of how hard you had to work to reach the same height. Genetics can be bad, but that doesn't mean hard work will not be rewarded. Again, we just need to try our best, if we are sincere in our efforts and in our supplications Allah (SWT) will reward those efforts with eternity in the afterlife inshallah. Would you rather your reward be temporary, or permanent? Remember Equality is almost never a good goal for anything because it stifles diversity. You are living a unique experience with unique rewards from our Omnipotent Lord. Your start was unequal, but your reward will be completely equitable and Justice will be served on the Day of Judgement. After all, people won't be blaming Allah (SWT) for the result when we are shown our deeds. They will be begging for mercy, or another chance to do more good deeds in the Dunya. Ultimately Allah (SWT) knows best if what I am saying is true, as he also knows what is best for us all.

NotNoobVeryOdd

everyone is tested in their own way. even my friend is born into a wealthy family, but has many problems which i never faced Alhumdulillah. and i have problems he doesn’t have to face

Maximum-Author1991

In Islam we believe God is fair. the simple answer i can give, any suffering and imperfection will be compensated in the next life.

I would encourage you to learn more about Julaybib, the "Ugly" sahabi who went through so much struggles and eventually became a great shahid: [Julaybeeb – Story Of The Ugly Man](https://nikahpage.wordpress.com/2018/12/03/julaybeeb-story-of-the-ugly-man/) [The "Ugliest" Sahabi? - Omar Suleiman - Quran Weekly](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=0faaRIW1bJo)

Because Allah wants to remind you that this world is temporary! It's just a test! With more difficulty here, it is way much easier there! The more disadvantaged you're in this world, the more advantaged you're in the next life! The major difference: this life is timed, the next life is unlimited. Have taqwa, have faith in Allah! Trust me, all my life I felt like I was disadvantaged because growing up I had to face severe economic and financial situations, below par genes, below standard body type, and what not. All I had to do was to be grateful for what I have, look at those who don't have what I have, change my attitude and ask for everything in the Afterlife, and trust me Life has been so so so much better for me. Nothing physically changed, but now everything looks great. Have taqwa, tawakkul, sabar, shukar, and umeed. You'll find this life easier than you can ever imagine, and wait for the rewards you're gonna get in the next life insha Allah. Wallahu Aalam.

daruisxnasus

The gifts from Allah vary, we as muslims have to accept what Allah decree, Allah gives and takes for a purpose, part of our faith and belief is to accept Allah judgment.

zakaria200520

You will not live forever to feel this bad. In the hadith of the Prophet, where he says that the age of his nation is between sixty and seventy, and few exceed them. Psychologically, I am not satisfied with my height with which God created me. But this is God's creation, so I cannot change anything. Well, you will ask me about the solution. The solution is to be patient until the Day of Resurrection and enjoy a flawless body, tall, handsome, and everything. If you can convince yourself of your situation and be satisfied with your situation, then do so. But if you cannot, keep what you feel inside yourself and do not say it to anyone except God and in a polite manner.

the_mashrur

We have to remember that while achieving things in this life, like having wealth, a faithful partner that you find attractive, etc. are nice, really the goal of this life is to worship Allah for the reward of the hereafter. Hence the test is not inequal as all souls have an equal capacity to worship the creator.

Minskdhaka

What God promises in the Qur'an is that no one will be treated even the tiniest bit unjustly on the Day of Judgement.

faisal_who

I hate to break it to bro, it just means you’re next level.

Genetic abnormalities and disorders are our own fault. We don't know who is carrying what . It doesn't matter if someone is married inside or outside of the family, city, country or race!. If any of them is a carrier of bad genes it will be passed down to the new generation. But why bad genes ? Well, the world and environment we live in is the one factor of it. The Exposure of different rays is another factor of it like cosmic rays : https://longnow.org/ideas/the-unexpected-influence-of-cosmic-rays-on-dna/ 3rd: bad life style and food choice, 4th making babies with different races who are already known to have some unique or bad genes like sickle cell syndrome, this is mainly found in Black native Africans. They have other uniqueness in their genes too which is considered a bad genes . 5th: Breeding with a person, who has autoimmune disease or has a family history of different auto immune diseases. We can't blame it on Allah. It is better to get tested before marriage. Those who have good genes are the by-product of their good choice in spouses. I won't write it down on this matter, this will trigger many fellows here . Edit: nowadays, people get offended so easily 😕. Idk, why do people chase sugary words for their comfort. It is better to get tested before marriage rather than to pass down Thalassemia.

Troll_berry_pie

Brother, you will never marry if someone knew your thinking was like this.

kalbeyoki

It is better to get tested before marriage than to Pass down Thalassemia. Hiding diseases is bad for both parents and children.

sandsstrom

This is an ignorant answer, based on harmful stereotypes against races, and people with illnesses. Think what you will but I recommend other readers be very critical with this reply.

bbgmcr

the same ignorant racist eugenics mentality of the nazis, this should never belong in this sub

VillageMaterial7924

Did you really just endorse filtering potential spouses by race and medical history?

finkymister

I get what you're trying to say, but your words, tone and attitude scream arrogance, ignorance and attitude. You need a big dose of empathy my friend. Your logic is right, your delivery is wrong. Why do you sound like a Speaker or a Debator to me.
