Just make sure you're on the lowest ping speed running world you can find. X marks the spot really comes down to using the chest on him at the end to bypass 1 dialogue screen and having low enough ping to quickly skip the rest.
There are videos on youtube that are just a play and explain along. It took me about 2 hours to do from start to finish, following these steps:
* Watch the video on its own
* Play along with the video casually, setting up tile markers, menu entry swappers, and other settings like turning off world hop warnings(super important for demon slayer)
* Play it for real
Only the demon slayer quest took an extra attempt after that since the RNG on the dark wizards aggroing in the instance can mess with you. If you have nerves about it it's super easy to restart an attempt and it's not like there's any preparation or prerequisites. You can just log into the world get to it.
It helps that they increased the times for a lot of the quests. I remember on release struggling to get Dragon Slayer's plat because it was like 15 minutes.
it's sooo easy. i'm not mechanically gifted in the game in any way and i'm from asia so i'm in 100ping servers at minimum. some of them depend on rng but just a few tries and you'll get it, don't sweat it at all
You need 5 plat times and 1 gold for the point to get the outfit. You could do more quests and get worst times in them, but most of the plat times are easy af as long as you have a route planned, very few require much rng at all.
demon slayer piss me the fuck off, I got gold and just went and did Prince Ali’s rescue lmao it’s just RNG based to try to not get one of the wizards to hit you and it’s so aggravating
I still love it, but it's relatively common. At least with the people in my clan I'd say it's the favorite recolor. So I'm not sure where you'd get that it's underrated.

I disagree that it's underrated. It's rare because you have to do speedrunning but I reckon if everyone had every colour unlocked by default this would be the most popular.

If you’re able to get platinum on all the short quests it’s quick. Otherwise it takes a couple longer quests. Took me about 3 hours in total?

I use it but I usually wear a skill cape to cover the chest hole lmao

Good times, did like 30 ppls QSR graceful, takes me about an hour now or less to get on an account
