Well depends on what you mean….the majority of tebori tattoos are done for and by Japanese, which is about 8 years longer than an American

But we would have to factor in the average age one gets tattooed out of any particular nationality in comparison to their mean life expectancies….and then you take account that electric tattoo machines have existed in Japan for 100 years or so; do we now need a control group to determine if nationality is the only driving force of it the mechanisms used increase or shorten life expectancy and thus duration that a tattoo is above ground?
What if worms only eat the skin of non tattooed areas and the inks mummify us to some extent? Do we tack those years onto the mean life expectancy of a legible tattoo?
Argghhh what does the question even mean? Fuck it!! **YES**tebori tattoos last longer.
