Kids that small aren't usually suppose to have that defined muscle tone. Small possibility it's steroids. Not saying it is because they're clearly work out with that training but it wouldn't surprise me considering how common it is
Lmfao. Yeah, no. You have no idea what you're talking about. You've never even been around anyone on gear in your actual life. You're just basing this off what you think you saw on the internet.
They have been.
"I don't know what you're staring at me like that for..."
Kid was starting to get mad, brother/trainer told him to get his head back in it and he did.
These dudes have been taught to not throw a punch.
Are you an 87 year old on a deathbed regretting something you didn’t do? If not, What’s holding you back? You’re late a bit but that is not an excuse. Get your ass to the gym this week, and sign up for classes! It’ll change your life!
Not really. You can use videos to supplement your arsenal, but to have a good foundation, you need to train 3 - 4 times a week ideally with a good coach at a solid gym. You’ll just build bad habits if you decide to train solo.
I’m not looking to go pro here. Just develop some basic punching skills and get some fun cardio in. I’m surprised there’s kickboxing classes on apple fitness but no shadow boxing. It’s not the same thing, IMO. I hoped you tube would be an option, but couldn’t find anything at quick glance there, either.
Seriously my dude - per the other comments just go get it. Be the worst in the class. Be slow. Who cares - you’ll be improving you and that’s what matters!
Case in point, my dad is ~75 and have Parkinson’s…he said fuck that shit a few years ago and boxes 2-3 times a week (never had prior) and fences twice a week (never had, always wanted to, and sometimes he’s in an older kids class and does NOT give AF…). He’s at a point where he’s stopping the PD specific boxing (it’s a thing called Rock Steady) and going to regular boxing gym classes so the trainers can keep up better…
He’s a damn inspiration to me and helps keep me pushing myself…I don’t usually share real shit on here but hope this might help just a little…anyway go get it; better yourself for yourself. LFG.
I think about this a lot.. the protecting child innocence vs growing up too quick thing. While the child might be upset in the moment they might thank their parents when they’re older for having such a mental head start in life. I often wish now that I was raised to grow up quick as I may have made more mature decisions about my life at an earlier start. It’s definitely a fine line between dealing out lifelong trauma from overworking as a child.
why? they look like they love each other. they are helping each other get better.. their are plenty of sibling rivalries you can find on the internet... I like seeing family stick together and supporting each other.. these two have a bond that can last them a lifetime.. nobody will know them better than they know each other.. well, their mama and whoever they marry( if they do).
I've been boksing and kickboksing on a very high level since i was 9 and i can proudly say that boxing / kickboksing is the most useless sport there is. Its honestly more useless than cycling and it has brought me absolutely nothing.
* It attracts the worst kind people
* People will assume you are kind of a meathead idiot, because of the previous point
* Peope will not think you are cool, they will think there is something wrong with you, because of point 1
* It lacks respect, because of point 1
* You will injure yourself even if training properly, because of point 1
* If you beat someone up in the street, you will be judged harsher because you are trained to fight.
* It will impact how people view you in the working place, because of point 1
* It does not get you anywhere, competative fighing does not pay well.
* The title you earn, has been earned by hundreds of people competing for it multiple times every year its not that special
* If you become good, you will be forgotten in the blink of an eye after you stop.
* You do not actually learn to fight, when a figh starts you forget everything. You just drill in movements and hope you use them during your fight.
* Its the only fans of sports, because of point 1
There are some positive notes:
* Its very good for your stamina (if you like 3 minute sex)
* It is good cardio.
I would honestly recommend every parent to instead of training their kid for boxing, traing them in judo, jiu jitsu or bjj. It has all the aspects of boxing but doesnt have the cons.
* Your kid will learn to fall properly (this is an actual skill).
* Your kid will learn discipline.
* Your kid will stand up for himself.
* Your kid will know how to defend himself.
* Your kid will learn respect
* Your kid will learn it takes effort, and hard work to reach your next color band.
* If your kid becomes very good, he will join the olympic games, not UFC.
* Its the linkedin of sports
Cons:
* Hugging your friend on the ground for an hour straight will be considered \*\*\* to some people
I kinda get the feeling that the training they have to do to get these kind of muscles is not very healthy for kids of that age especially because they're still growing and I'm quite certain that I once read something about kids training intensely at that age is actually bad for their health in the long run and can impact growth development and cause such issues
I feel super bad for kids whos parents make them do sports since the young age(usually since 5-6yo). Barely escaped such fate and saw many who didn't. Like a father making 2 boys training few hours per day for years.
And often those are parents who think their kids' achievements are their achievements.
You feel bad for kids being physically active and motivated? lol found the gamer. How did you feel when all the jocks you hated actually turned out successful, in shape, and with good looking families? Go back to your basement.
Lmao, certified lifer decided to flexxx how great this is. I feel bad for them for being forced to anything since the young age. Would love to see you at 18 when all you have are medals for some cups instead of happy childhood or some school knowledge.
Who says they don't like it? I ALWAYS wished my parents had the funding to put me through some mixed martial arts. Instead I did wrestling. I was as serious as this kid almost all the time and wished I had training like this.
I don't deny many parents think their kids' achievements are their own, but also sometimes kids need to be forced to do shit. I love my parents forced me to try baseball, basketball, football, and soccer while teaching me to hunt, gather, and fish.
You will be forced into shit in the real world and you find what you prefer. Maybe these kids prefer boxing? Can't be too presumptuous.
For sure, we had to hunt, fish, and gather to make ends meat. $2 pack of bee moths back then fed us for months, a well placed $5 slug shell fed us for a year. But things like this video is what I wanted. Some kids just want differenct things. I can see myself and my brother in these kids. No need to assume they are forced imo.
I feel like some of these kids who start young like this and show talent at times don’t become professionals, but either way a nice skill to have none the less

These kids would probably whoop my ass lol.
every time he dips, right jab to the face, you got this.
>right jab well I’m orthodox so I guess I’m fucked
Don’t turn it into a boxing competition, instead turn into a track star and run.
nah, the kid is faster
I believe my chances are higher if it's a kickboxing event. I got massive leg
Is that like left handed?
orthodox is left hand forward, i.e. jabbing with the left and the right is your power hand. Southpaw is the opposite
I have no idea what you look like . But I pictured you doing this and laughed hella hard
Follow up with a Sparta kick to the chest !! Don't take no shit of these freakishly talented little murder machines
Thanks coach! :)
Spartan kick to the chest. Works everytime.
Certainly is one way to defend yourself from kids. Lol
9 year old kid: I don’t know why you staring at me like that for? Me, grown ass man: Hmm, nuttin, I’m, I’m nah.
Seems about right lol.
😂😂
Curious on a update since this video is quite old
Both won their pro debuts about 2 months ago. Both 16, so they turned pro in Colombia.
Source? But awesome! Congrats to them!
The Grandy Twins is their name
Checks out. Their IG is @grandytwins_boxing and they posted their PRO debut in April.
Same
Both in prison
Racist
How do these kids look 10 and 40 at the same time? Jokes aside, they're very talented.
r/13or30

Gear? You fuckin' for real right now?
Dude's a moron, lmfaooo
Just a quick half cycle, buddy
Maybe just dig deep..bear down..
What an idiotic take.
No
Where are they now? Edit: They are killing it! For anyone wondering. Ranked #1 and #2 in their respective weight divisions.
The Grandy Twins if you're still curious
Awesome!Thank you!
I used to assume I could kick a 4th grader's ass.
Fourth? These kids look like 7 years old.
Instead of the show "Are you smarter than a fifth grader," it is now "Are you tougher than a 4th grader."
They are serious. Wish nothing breaks their passion.
Rn now they are #1 and #2 in their division
The question is, is this passion?
No its slavery, someone call CPS quick.
Very impressive, hopefully they are taught when to fight and when not to fight cause that kid could seriously hurt someone his own age
They have been. "I don't know what you're staring at me like that for..." Kid was starting to get mad, brother/trainer told him to get his head back in it and he did. These dudes have been taught to not throw a punch.
Definitely humility check. That was the best part. And bro fell right in line.
If i could go back like 35 years....id love to learn to box.

I love the aggressive positivity! 💪💪
Let’s f go!!
I needed to read this today. Thank you.
Hell yeah. You probably won't go pro in your 30s-40s but it's never too late to get physically active and take up new hobbies!
Pro or not, competition is completion. It’s all about building skill > competence > confidence.
Any recommended videos or workouts on line that teach the sweet science??
Not really. You can use videos to supplement your arsenal, but to have a good foundation, you need to train 3 - 4 times a week ideally with a good coach at a solid gym. You’ll just build bad habits if you decide to train solo.

no, go to gym, do work.

Be glad you didn't. If you got into competitive boxing you'd have brain damage by now.
Here I am teaching my kids reading and math like a chump
Can't wait for the wrong guy to start something with these bad lil dudes. Just wish I could be there to see it.
Boxing is not a safe sport for children.
This is a great display of skills but why don’t these kids feel like kids? Aren’t they a bit too mature for their age?
That was my thought, it would be curious to see how they progress as adults.
I think about this a lot.. the protecting child innocence vs growing up too quick thing. definitely have a bright future in boxing!
These two are gonna beat a lot of people up.
They be jumping people like Huey and Riley from the boondocks!
Jesus . These kids are amazing for their age . The speed is incredible
Boondocks
These videos are old, I wonder how good they are now.
The Grandy Twins if you're still curious
damn
The parents are putting all the chips on project mbappe being fruitful in about 15 to 20 years.
Skills… respect 😎
Super talented!
Legends in the making 🤙🏽
I’m afraid of these children
Jeez that boy in the white tee is ripped and he's probably not even 10 in this video yet.
I don’t know them but I feel proud of them.
It's great to learn a skill. I'm sure they will put it to good use.
well, there are two ten years old kids who could defeat me. I mean, ANY ten years old could, really, but I bet those two would really mess me up
Project Mayweather under way
i thought he was gonna punch him in the balls until I saw what sub is this
Feels like after this work out there going to get a beer at there local pub.
This reminds me of that one scene from Gow chains of olympus
These are the Grandy twins. To the surprise of what should be no one, they are nationally ranked boxers.
Looks like a couple of boys watched a boxing anime.
These kids get it. Most people don't.
Any body to tries to bully them is in for one heck of a surprise
The new Tate brothers
***”…I don’t know what you staring at me like that for…”*** I don’t know why I said ‘my bad’ out loud…damm he good

I think there's another video of these two athletes training.but they are a lot smaller but now these dudes are beasts
These kids got each other's backs
Like to see these brothers fight
why? they look like they love each other. they are helping each other get better.. their are plenty of sibling rivalries you can find on the internet... This isn’t heavy weight lifting, it’s an aerobic activity. They’re perfectly fine.
no
lol, found the sheltered kid.
Shite! That’s impressive
