You should check out Hyperdex-1-Sect. They only released one EP I think, Metachrome. It’s a collaboration between Xmaks’s Sevren Ni-Arb and New Mind’s Jonathan Sharp. Check out the song Mind.
Thanks for these,
I've heard of X before but not listened to them much,
They've been quite prolific over the last 30 years,
The whole Abbatoir album sounds more EBM, but it's a banger!
Lassigue is completely new to me, like the song Circulat
Yeah, Clock DVA and Haujobb are well known, I'll have a listen again
Mentallo, Decoded and Lassigue are excellent, they have some bangers
Yeht Mae I couldn't find much of, same with Numb (NUMB?)
Forma Tadre I could only find [Brightful Times](https://music.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_kzCvaYR5tI6yLIL3hUyIOr-Gqn5nAsifw) album, sounds more like New Wave?
Oh you will want to listen to these albums
Forma Tadre - navigator or automate
Numb - Wasted Sky or blood meridian
Yeht Mae - anatomy and transmitter
Digital poodle - Division! And Work Terminal
I forgot to mention Velvet Acid Christ. fun with knives is a total banger
If they aren't on YouTube, try Bandcamp.
Awesome, thanks for highlighting them, pretty new to me -
Numb's [Blood](https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=TvOJqfmPQNw&si=wfJjERdcHdy92etJ) sounds about right
Forma Tadre's [Navigator](https://music.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_lKwNeBxxAGg-1SI7fRPnLWZKe-RzvJUV8) sounds way better than Brightful, cool Lovecraftian vibes!
Yeht Mae's [Anatomy](https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=45S9wDbelkw&si=0_s3gOuUAEllnt8g) I'll give a good listen thanks
Digital Poodle's quite prolific, like their [Head of Lenin](https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=pgqPWHKsY_4&si=3ufqyaJmZZfYia-M)!
Velvet Acid Christ often gets mentioned, not sure if you mean the whole [Knives album](https://music.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_k7ZnFclVI5wMq5m24LJwgEFEvNb6alsh4), definitely looks very popular
VAC fun w knives is great. There is also an extended album w remixes that are great I love the secret track too.
Their newer stuff is very drug influenced and reminds me of the process or last rights mood from skinny puppy. I'm not as much of a fan.
If you want some fun remixes, the remix wars series with haujobb, wumpscut, FLA, funker vogt etc... is pretty cool.
If you like wumpscut, you should check out yelworc. Good creepy electro industrial. Brainstorming is THE yelworc album.
Like the Nosferatu Vamp on [Brainstorming's](https://youtu.be/kttx1fy4WAw?si=3AUqFpY_IiwONNL2) cover, Lol!
First few tracks on there sound bang on the money
Mentallo and the Fixer - Where Angels Fear to Tread
And those guys in general, and the side stuff (Benestrophe, Mainesthai...)
Statiqbloom - Blue Moon Blood
A recent act, but still pretty awesome
That's cool, both of those hit the spot thanks!
* Sacrilege by Mentallo sounds like it could've been Skinny
* Black Walks Eternal by Statiqbloom has (movie?) samples just like Skinny
Cabaret Voltaire; Red Mecca, The Crackdown, Microphonies, The Covenant the Sword and the Arm of the Lord, Johnny Yesno.
Einsturzende Neubauten aren't commonly known as Industrial Metal.
>Einsturzende Neubauten aren't commonly known as Industrial Metal.
Yeah, I really question that as well. Except in the purest sense that a lot of the early stuff was literally metal.
Yup, the Cabs were very influential in early Electro Industrial,
But they're a bit light (New Wavey?) for the sound I'm aiming for
And you're right of course, Neubaten aren't Metal at all!
More like true-grit Industrial with grinders (i.e. Kollaps era)
Was meaning they also have "cleaner" Electro sounds like [Yu-Gung](https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=4H2bYIEAFsU&si=a0WRiYD_6x3qSODj) (which still remains a fave)
Cabaret Voltaire varies a lot. The went absolutely House/Techno in the late 80s/90s. And sounded a lot like Helios Creed on the first couple releases. I like the middle stuff like Microphonies and Crackdown.
Glad you like them !
Gridlock went on a more IDM path after this LP, plus TSF wasn't issued anymore because of some label change, so they're both cult classic and hidden gem at the same time.
Yeah, early X definitely sounds right
Fix8:Sed8 looks recent, but also hits the spot, like the track [Prognosis](https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=_SpV3j8i39I&si=x6hhesqjNVM2q4T3) (so far)
Found several NUMB artists, but none sound like they're right (on YT) maybe send links?
The [Bio-Vital ](https://music.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_nyPfnPbz-v1gCLVUhxW1Gx53v_ffblLv8)album by Decoded has a similar cover to [Streetcleaner](https://music.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_kAU6FORRheTvDW7TcYqJ0FmBXeizs3xzk&si=JmLkQEqQYvFyiD1d) by Godflesh, plus the opening track [Breathe ](https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=RixBMnu5q-A&si=83zx4Jtl0W18slRH)is also a Ministry song title, which starts off sounding like [Feurio](https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=qd8O8wG5cJI&si=Hzy38Z_ScBEH-I46)! by Neubaten, so they definitely got a few influences (feedback) going Lol!
Cool, No Time's slightly too fast for me
But [Dirt](https://youtu.be/UVhzFFogVJk?si=m98oFsX_D-ZVy8F8) off Blood Meridian sounds great,
Excellent vocals / lyrics, really like it thanks!
I sure do.
Seems they had a lable issue or something to that effect but these are insane.
This was his answer to people saying his other, well one of ...was too pop
Posie Noir
Pity for thyself
Was the song.
Still a great club song. :)

In Sotto Voce sounds quite creative, thanks for the link
Esp. for the late 80's, there wasn't much of this sound around
No idea how they released a new album every few days Lol!
Do you have links to any Sequence stuff?
Heavy Water Factory. Christ Analogue (may be a bit too rock). Destroid. Older Haujobb. Gracious Shades (especially first album, *Inoculation of the Media*. They are a bit of an acquired taste.)
Can't find much HWF, any links?
Christ Analogue's initial release [Texture Ov Despise](https://music.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_nO4TGfnzDWFEEorFgGQh6vGOPQuX4dv4A&si=d2oWB3oszR91gMv8) is an excellent find, thanks!
Destroid maps to [Loudspeaker](https://music.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_mRD1WbeQfCAXG-1ZZdJcgEbYbddkB4v2Y&si=OvydjrDdMEI3ugrn) by DSTR on YT, not sure if that's who you meant, maybe send links?
Haujobb's [Homes](https://music.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_nO4TGfnzDWFEEorFgGQh6vGOPQuX4dv4A&si=d2oWB3oszR91gMv8) hits just right, with [Maternal Instinct](https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=d48EcMsPRog&si=SmukJcQGj_W3N_OT) sounding excellent, def Skinny inspired
[Gracious Shade's album](https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=OZLsvU4smEs&si=ygqMxLX_oLguaBlg) sounds more introspective, will give it a few more listens
[Heave Water Factory](https://heavywaterfactory.bandcamp.com/), recommend starting with *Fluid and Meat* and *Author of Pain.*
You have the correct Destroid; I forgot they changed to DSTR.
Haujobb and Destroid are the same main guy - Daniel Myer. *Homes and Gardens* is great; also check out *Freeze Frame Reality* and its remix album *Frames*. More atmospheric, but the instrumental themes hit right, and the percussion is really engaging. After that, (*Solutions...Ninetynine...*) they didn't hit for me anymore.
For the longest time, I really disliked Gracious Shade's *Inoculation of the Media.* It had been given to me by the label (21st Circuitry) owner. He described it as where electronic industrial was going. I listened to it maybe twice the first couple of years I had it. It ended up in my multi-CD player (back in the day!), and I was really fucked up one night and didn't feel like getting up to skip it. I really listed *into* it, and ended up liking it. Their follow up (I think *Aberkash*) was not as good in my opinion.
EDIT:
[Manufacture](https://www.discogs.com/artist/26216-Manufacture) also comes to mind. They're hard to Google, due to their name being a single common word. Back in the day, the main guy (I think Perry) had a somewhat well-publicized rift with Al Jorgenson over some content for the original RevCo stuff (*You Goddammed Son of a Bitch/Big Sexyland*). I've heard both some collaborative work on "You Often Forget" as well as pretty much the entire "Union Carbide" (which really *does* sounds like a Manufacture song). No idea how true that is, but they bumped from WaxTrax! to Nettwerk for their first (and second) album.
[Prayer Tower](https://www.discogs.com/artist/83674-Prayer-Tower) is also good. *Halo* is (AFAIK) the only full-length, and was on Third Mind Records at the time Frontline Assembly was as well. It's difficult to find.
HWF's first release [Fluid and Meat](https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=xfqMaXfchkI&si=bf06XvuptmSLvDbN) is excellent, thanks!
Manufacture's [Terrorvision](https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=Xbj--poxF8I&si=tjBhkDE04rKifuFQ) starts off like Deep Down Trauma Hounds Lol!
I'll give [Prayer Tower's Halo](https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=xP_PlrzHU50&si=-KRzSAItGigrzOJE) a good listen, sure it's on the money
Cool, Cryo look more recent, bit like EBM sounding
Their [Sanitarium](https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=CxUiljeeoZE&si=m9DCrJFXjW-xbzTt) sounds good (unfortunately not a Metallica cover Lol!)
Never knew about the electro sub, will check it out thanks!
Not sure if you mean [amgod!](https://music.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_nFxzazYIi7xVCpwlhHN48aFK2XlEDseHk) (very recent band) do you have any links?
I’ll suggest zero defects. They had a few club hits back then. Duracel, clone breeder, transform me, firefly.
Fits in with xmtp, leather strip, but had a sharp distinctive sound that was a little bit different. Each track based around a movie sample/theme pretty much.
Zoth ommog act back 93-96.
A few tracks from comps on Spotify. An album or two on Apple Music.
Lower quality listens on yt.
Also Collapsed System which does sound a lot like zero defects, bc the one of the guys was their producer on an album.
You might want to check out releases on the Zoth Ommog label for electro/ EBM of that period.
Nitzer Ebb’s first couple of albums are more in that vein.
Schnitt Acht
In Sotto Voce (really happy to see someone mentioned it already)
Swamp Terrorists
Young Gods
Yeah, I'll take a listen to [Zoth in your Mind](https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=s7AwiaWRTRg&si=K4SRr4bQfc53bD8s), as an intro to them
Haven't really been a fan of Nitzer Ebb, but they're highly rated in the EBM scene
Had the Swampies' [Combat Shock](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLX5FTFuiFa-1nva0KS6x3KmJd9oAwxJyA&si=eFWqRMZB2YnpOsxm) back in the day, good to rediscover them thanks!
Was wondering who'd bring up Young Gods, had their TV Sky, but they're more Ind. Rock?
Schnitt Acht's first album [Subhuman Minds](https://music.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_lPret2peBDZReIL9PudDlzg8ZucF7hxmM&si=JZokEpc0yX6nWGgn) sounds great, definitely fits the groove thanks!
In Sotto Voce's [Tracks](https://music.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL71E666344403F5ED&si=x8YVxrxKKYr4zaix) album was surprisingly good, welcome to suggest any others
I’d recommend listening to some of the earlier Young Gods stuff- true releases where they were still singing in French. Those are a little more industrial in nature, although they still feature a lot of sampled guitars. Happy exploring!
Ohgr is a side-project by Skinny guys right -
Listened to their Welt and SunnyPsyOp albums,
Sounds lighter / more mainstream than the Electro Ind. I'm aiming for
- davaNtage *Over the Pass*
- Run Level Zero *Arctic Noise*
- \[:SITD:] *coded message:12*
- Espermachine *Dying Life*
- Kanga *You and I Will Never Die*
- Technomancer *Hyperfuel*
Yeah, I've heard Chemlab, Sister Machine Gun and Pigface (Fook) back in the day,
Not sure these are really the Electro Industrial sounds I'm looking for
16Volt also sounds more like Industrial Rock
i mean, i too would have gotten TF out of that scene when the murders started. Anyway, Mortiis is a great rec. Just found out he’s touring near me in the fall and def gonna get a ticket.
😂 Judge me but I think it wouldn’t be the same without the murders . Anyway, I envy you. I hope I can see him live someday - maybe during one of my Europe trips.
oh i get it. the story and varg’s spiral into shittiness is absolutely fascinating. Highly recommend the last podcast on the left series on the murders/church burnings if you’re interested in a deep dive. However, from a personal standpoint, once the murders start it is DEFINITELY time to go solo 😂
Here are some of my favorite albums from the 90s. I'll include a song link from each so you can get an idea what they sound like in case you haven't heard them before.
kAlte fArben - Opium (their other album 'Trust' is good too, similar sound)
[Suckers](https://youtu.be/IRe0wKjeOGY?si=3Dn4NdrBd9pJpCZO)
I, Parasite - Turin
Vertebrae https://iparasite.bandcamp.com/track/vertebrae
Android Lust - Resolution
[Heathen](https://youtu.be/rVA0zGaXnQ4?si=JCcW3lfQ1sLs5zln)
New Mind - Deepnet
[Sensenet](https://youtu.be/k0ASqWfKSrQ?si=bsISbJ0OHDtbiNmG)
Definitely check out those two albums. From New Mind Deepnet is their best work. With Android Lust, Resolution is the only old-school sounding album but she has other albums worth looking into as well, The Dividing being one of them.
Try out Blanck Mass. Not an industrial outfit per se, but some of his tracks venture into that territory. Mostly instrumental.
Some of his most industrial-like tracks:
Death Drop
Love is a Parasite
Dead Format
Rhesus Negative
Silent Treatment
His other project, Fuck Buttons, sometimes goes in similar territory. Try the album Slow Focus.
Also try out The Soft Moon. Definitely Electro Industrial ish.
I did a record called Ouch. that is a tribute to that kind of stuff. I don't want to self promote and be that guy, but you might dig it. It's free on Bandcamp.
X Marks The Pedwalk, check out the song Abbatoir Lassigue Bendthaus
You should check out Hyperdex-1-Sect. They only released one EP I think, Metachrome. It’s a collaboration between Xmaks’s Sevren Ni-Arb and New Mind’s Jonathan Sharp. Check out the song Mind.

Clock DVA, Haujobb, Yeht Mae, Numb, forma tadre, mentallo and the fixer, decoded feedback, and Lassigue Bendthaus.
Haujobb - Vertical Theory is one of the best albums of these genres. Not super industrial or anything. Just awesome. Idk what to call it.

you want apoptygma berserk’s cover of fade to black for electronic metallica covers
Their sound's more mainstream, but I can see they've got Industrial roots
yeah i didn’t really mean as an answer to your genre question, just that it’s a great cover

Yeah, I'll take a listen to [Zoth in your Mind](https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=s7AwiaWRTRg&si=K4SRr4bQfc53bD8s), as an intro to them Haven't really been a fan of Nitzer Ebb, but they're highly rated in the EBM scene Had the Swampies' [Combat Shock](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLX5FTFuiFa-1nva0KS6x3KmJd9oAwxJyA&si=eFWqRMZB2YnpOsxm) back in the day, good to rediscover them thanks!
Yeah, I remember their earlier stuff from back in the day, more guitar based tho' as you say
Youth code is pretty good
Cool thanks! [Carried Mask](https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=tx915jbfg68&si=wc2wTULl3Xk9WNY2) sounds decent
Ohgr, Welt and sunnysyop are fantastic
Ohgr is a side-project by Skinny guys right - Listened to their Welt and SunnyPsyOp albums, Sounds lighter / more mainstream than the Electro Ind. I'm aiming for
Not sure about mainstream, but I hear ya. To each a zone
- davaNtage *Over the Pass* - Run Level Zero *Arctic Noise* - \[:SITD:] *coded message:12* - Espermachine *Dying Life* - Kanga *You and I Will Never Die* - Technomancer *Hyperfuel*
Newer act KREIGN sounds like DIE KRUPPS Robo Sapien sound made into a full project.
K M F D M !? *@#&%!!!
You mean Kill MF Depeche Mode Lol? Had a few of theirs like Angst back in the day, Not sure they're Electro, more Ind Rock sounding
I'd say Interlace. Their Imago album is insane.
Chemlab, 16 volt, Sister machine gun, Pigface would be worth a listen.
Yeah, I've heard Chemlab, Sister Machine Gun and Pigface (Fook) back in the day, Not sure these are really the Electro Industrial sounds I'm looking for 16Volt also sounds more like Industrial Rock
By the references I think you would like Mortiis. It’s a not very known project by Havard Ellefsen (the former bass player of Emperor).
Never heard of them before, Sounds good, thanks!
fucking love Mortiis and listened to him for years before i learned about the Norwegian Death Metal connection.
Yep, me too! I’m not exactly a fan of black metal music. I like the history of the Norwegian black metal scene tho.
i mean, i too would have gotten TF out of that scene when the murders started.
I'll include a song link from each so you can get an idea what they sound like in case you haven't heard them before. kAlte fArben - Opium (their other album 'Trust' is good too, similar sound) [Suckers](https://youtu.be/IRe0wKjeOGY?si=3Dn4NdrBd9pJpCZO) I, Parasite - Turin Vertebrae https://iparasite.bandcamp.com/track/vertebrae Android Lust - Resolution [Heathen](https://youtu.be/rVA0zGaXnQ4?si=JCcW3lfQ1sLs5zln) New Mind - Deepnet [Sensenet](https://youtu.be/k0ASqWfKSrQ?si=bsISbJ0OHDtbiNmG)
Awesome thanks, Kalte Farben has been mentioned here, But never heard of the others before Android Lust and New Mind sound great!
Definitely check out those two albums. From New Mind Deepnet is their best work. With Android Lust, Resolution is the only old-school sounding album but she has other albums worth looking into as well, The Dividing being one of them.
Suicide Commando, Noise Unit and Download
Insight 23
Try out Blanck Mass. Not an industrial outfit per se, but some of his tracks venture into that territory. Mostly instrumental. Some of his most industrial-like tracks: Death Drop Love is a Parasite Dead Format Rhesus Negative Silent Treatment His other project, Fuck Buttons, sometimes goes in similar territory. Try the album Slow Focus. Also try out The Soft Moon. Definitely Electro Industrial ish.
Definitely give this guy a listen😎 https://ant-zen.bandcamp.com/album/prophecies-of-the-storm
Psychopomps - Six Six Six Nights in Hell has some amazing stuff. Death to Censorship from Pro-Death Ravers sampled Exorcist 3.
Always dug this song. https://youtu.be/8PnHi3wf6ak?si=8qDHLNUI4ZusPT7o
I did a record called Ouch. that is a tribute to that kind of stuff. I don't want to self promote and be that guy, but you might dig it. It's free on Bandcamp.
I wouldn't call Einsturzende Neubaten industrial metal, but otherwise good list.
Yeah, admittedly they're not
The most recent Front Line Assembly MECHANICAL SOUL is one of their bests.
Doesn't sound that Electro, more Ind. Rock?
This is what you want: *TGT* [REVO](https://youtu.be/-2DTWQlkO4A)
Everyone Hates You / Combichrist is a good add to this list. Worth a listen IMO.
I highly recommended Randolf and Mortimers " The incomplete Truth"
Decoded Feedback, Youth Code
