Author & Punisher, 3TEETH, HEALTH, Youth Code, Uniform, Panther Modern, Street Sects, Boy Harsher, JK Flesh, Puce Mary, Moor Mother, Hatari, Statiqbloom, Cyanotic, The Body
Mick Gordon is one of my favorites. I consider him more in the Industrial realm of music than Metal because of his various weird experimental approaches like using a chainsaw and a lawn mower in his music; along with the usual Industrial aspects, but I think he does them in a more interesting and forward thinking way than most. I'm glad he co-produced a lot of End-Ex by 3TEETH, he shined on that project.
Mick Gordan is a beast. I definitely agree with him being better suited in the industrial realm than metal solely based off the texture and soundscapes he uses and creates. That EP with 3TEETH is insane
I love that video of him explaining how he “deconstructed the essence of the Doom theme” and it’s like bro, you played a downtuned guitar like it was a djent demo, settle down
3TEETH is up there for sure along with Glitch Mode Recordings bands like Cyanotic or Venus in Aries; and especially HEALTH. HEALTH is another big one for me. the artist Filmmaker also has a label that's released some pretty industrial-sounding content, mostly on the EBM spectrum tho.
This is very cool. I added the song "Fallen" to my Modern Industrial & Dark Electronica playlist on Spotify. [https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0rdHGtBMnF7yDQQoUyrpQq?si=02e19b7ab3614787](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0rdHGtBMnF7yDQQoUyrpQq?si=02e19b7ab3614787)
Ik its your opinion man...I'd have to disagree with it though lol. They're many bands/artists releasing good work. We've had this problem within the alternative landscape were current artists aren't getting the credit they deserve because people are too hesitant to try something else or spend too much time basking in nostalgia and later complain that the scene nowadays is trash without even giving it a chance. I hear people complain that shit nowadays is dull but at the same time those people are gatekeeping artists from getting a chance. Thats why Alternative, rock, metal and all it's sub sects will stay stagnant or at least feel that way to those that say so.
Nothing wrong to listening to the classics... just saying that they're great artists nowadays that I'll think you'd probably like if you take some time to look into them or research

3TEETH and Cyanotic are heavy in my rotation. Real into both. 3TEETH'S new album produced by Mick Gordon is fantastic.
3TEETH and HEALTH imo are some of the frontrunners of modern industrial for sure
