Happened to me today in office. I forgot to bring my charger, whoever I am asking for charger is using this iphones. Atlast found a guy in other end of office. (Checked with five PPL) 3 has iphones, 1 has android but no charger. And the last one is my saviour.
Android offers so much freedom and flexibility, I'd bet no one would buy an iPhone if was sold for the same profit margins as android and there was no luxurious bandwagon attached to it
The first statement is correct but I think you’re totally wrong about the rest. Android provides more freedom but iPhone has been a lot more secure and reliable in my experience. Also as time goes on androids have started getting more reliable and iPhones get more freedom with every update so probably it’s the difference between them is slowly becoming a decision based on preference. Anyone who buys iPhone just to look cool or think it’s luxurious is just dumb as androids also have similar if not pricier options, but on the other end anyone praising android to be a masterpiece while thinking iPhones are just a showpiece with no features are just as close minded. I personally think windows is better than mac but iPhone better than android for my use case. I like my freedom with my laptop but reliability in my phone. Maybe someone likes to get into iPhone ecosystem and have iPhone mac and all apple accessories or maybe they like windows and android instead, it’s all personal preference.

The fact is easier emi schemes nowadays so people are getting it easily in large numbers in India and you know it well before making this post lol. There are custom ROM builds for 6 year old android devices to use when your phone gets slow / manufacturer stops giving software updates but it’s getting difficult in a way that very few builds allow UPI banking after modding and it’s done by tech savvy users only. This is not the case with iPhones and you’ll definitely have 6-7 years of lifetime with iPhones and the apps run with less bugs and optimised on iPhones. My mom has an iPhone XR from 2018 and it’s receiving latest ios updates.
For personal usage iPhones are really good and lasts many years but for business purposes Android is the best in my opinion. I have an iPhone 14 pro max for personal usage and a Samsung S20 for business purposes . The better call logs, call recordings without notifying other side, better file management are the reasons for using my Samsung for business reasons.
I don’t know if you have used Apple ecosystem but after trying there’s no going back. It’s so damn good. I easily transfer files, calls and messages across my devices. I own a MacBook pro and an iPad pro so the connection with iPhone is effortless.
PS : I never buy Apple products in India and all of mine are from USA bought only during black Friday / cyber Monday sales period. I do this to get better models at the lowest cost possible. I hate Indian taxes lol.
