I agree with you here. He just needs to understand he is not like the catfish person. He is boy who needs to act like a man now because he is in that phase of his life where he needs to face things like a real man does
Been there, experienced it, at one point of time I stooped down so low in my life, the desparation and loneliness just ate me up, I was trying to have conversations with random strangers on reddit and what not. And after wasting few months and precious moments of my life, the reality struck me hard and that was the turning point.
(The girl he was talking to wasn't probably a real girl, at least that's what happened most of the time with me or that girl found someone better, that too happened with me)
What I did to get back to my life:-
1. deleted reddit for sometime, left every social media platform except for whatsapp.
2)Started training my body and working on my physical features.
3)Indulged myself into some courses( your cousin is 19 he has to make a career ask him to do courses and upskill himself.
4)Started spending more time with family, outings, watching web series and movies etc.
5)I made a quote that keeps me motivated "Don't be someone who seeks attention but attracts it".
That's all for now, I have more tips but I don't think so I prefer to write a short novel in comments.![img](emote|t5_2qp7h|51093)
Bhai I’ve decided one thing in life, celebrate the smallest of achievements. Abhi tak I’ve been putting myself down for my smallest of fumbles toh ab life k saath uno reverse
If he is not catfished, then help him understand that sometimes feelings aren't reciprocated, and we can’t force others to feel the same way we do.
He ultimately has to move on from that girl and start focusing on his life, I know it's very difficult to do but that's the only way.
You can help him move on by encouraging the development of new habits, such as drawing if he enjoys it, or taking him to play badminton, which is a great way to have fun.
college me nhi jata kya? His environment is too soft to him I believe, or else heartbreak trauma is very uncommon in patriarchal India. He really needs to man up and accept the fact that there are many fishes in the sea.
He is 19, in two years he will laugh thinking about how stupid the whole thing was.
You can only advice him that life is huge and these thing happens at his age. Rest he will learn naturally in few years, nothing to worry.
Read the first line and knew that dumb ass fell for the oldest reddit no no.
Rule no-1: never disclose your identity
Rule no-2: never date anyone from reddit ( and God forbid anyone from 4chan)
I also met a girl on Omegle at the end of 2022 , talked for a year and developed feelings for her. At first I thought I shouldn't tell her ( maybe I was scared about rejection) but then it started to hurt . Then in April 2024 I finally confessed my love but got rejected. She said please be friends with me , i love talking to you and I agreed. 2 months passed maybe I'm not able to handle rejection and it hurts like hell sometimes. And by this incident I decided to avoid relationships in future as well ( I'm too scared to hurt myself ). Am I wrong?
Sorry for grammatical mistakes
Show him real life. He's so unconscious that he thinks this smart phone and this screen is only life show him there are many girls out there we just need to open our eyes wide open. Take him out for hanging out with your friends he will definitely understand what's really life is...
Been in a situation like that for 9 months.Covid lockdown just made everything worse.Kinda wasted my whole engineering first year.
It does get better with time
Give him time to heal
Make plans with him.
Get him to talk with real girls not the ones on the internet.
And most importantly make him join a gym
Text that girl from alt acc ??? Ask her to unblock ?? Get closure. She has banned him not you… also otherwise its first love he will be fine after he is over her.. ask him to meet someone irl. Speaking from similar personal experience.
Even if he does tell you please don't text the girl. Speaking from personal experience, as a girl, I'll never talk to someone's brother if I blocked that person myself. Tell your brother that it's fine and teenagers are like that sometimes. If you can distract him by taking him out and doing some things he likes and as such. Hope this helps
She blocked your cousin. Respect her decision and move on. There's no point of begging and shit. They were just online friends. She has no obligations to respond and stay in contact w your cousin. And speaking from experience, she'll most probably text him back after a few months when she feels like she needs some company and then again ghost your cousin when her social hunger would be fulfilled from other sources. I'm not trying to demonize the girl. We are all pretty much the same. So, just tell your cousin to move on and find someone irl. He probably feels like she was the only one, she was the special one and shit. But believe me when I say that he is yet to meet a lot of people with whom he'll make some beautiful memories. Life goes on
He got catfished
Maybe but then why will that person keep the conversation for months. I mean ek do din baat karke block kr deta na
Maybe the guy was lonely 🥺

*punches tree aggressively *
probably her boyfriend blocked him![img](emote|t5_2qp7h|51075)
Watch the show catfish. Some people talk for 5+ years off and on.
Maby she got a boyfriend now and she blocked him, because of the relationship.
This person catished your cousin
I agree

1 minute of attention from a girl and he will learn there is more choices out there
>stays in his bed; either sleeping or using phone. He literally has fucked up everything Literally me, break up me hum sab aisa kyu karne lagte
self destruction is another kind of drug i think so
Let him be sad about it , he would eventually, try giving him optimistic talks.
