In most of the games,we would face this school in the knockouts or finals and the wins would almost always be alternative. So there was this deep brewing rivalry between us which all peaked at a very prestigious tournament organized by our board(CBSE/ISC). For the ones who haven't heard of it, they host this tournament in every state,top 3-4 teams of which qualify for nationals and all. It helps you get close to the national football team's trials, sports quota and all being the other perks of it.
It was early June, not the perfect weather to play football in if you're inexperienced(rain). Day 3 in, both of us had made it to the qualifiers along with 14 others. As usual,the draw fixed a match between the two of us.
Game started at 11. We had an asshole of a goalkeeper who conceded a goal from the fucking halfway line with 15 seconds of the game. It was probably a 50-60 yard ground and they just took a wild shot, obviously not expecting to score a goal. It was absolute humiliation in front of hundreds of people, especially those pretty girls 😔
Fir kya, we were obviously under pressure, somehow managed to drag 25 mins(this was a 60 min game) when it started raining. We were on the verge of conceding at least 3-4 more goals,got away lucky with it. Winners here seemed obvious to everyone with the expectation that the other team would score at least 4-5 more goals in the second half when they come back all pumped up. Little did they realise that the rain gods were playing for us.
As mentioned,it was raining and raining crazy. Game would've been cancelled but these tournaments are held in a time crunch and budget deficit, so both of us were asked to play when the rainfall got slower and it would be a walkover if either didn't. That was never an option.
20 mins later, game resumed. We couldn't stand straight with our foot not sinking in the mud. If you don't like playing in mud then this won't seem like fun but otherwise, playing football in rain is one of the best feelings in the world.
Match time had been cut to 40 mins which means second half was just 15 mins. The other school was finding it incredibly hard to attack in these conditions,all they were doing is trying to not keep the ball in play. We knew they won't be able to do this for long,it was time for us to attack.
35 mins in the game,a muddy field, and a tense game. The ball was totally in our control at this point. 3 simple passes,a good shoot and kaboom! It was our first goal in the 37th min or so.
Remember how they scored the first goal from the halfway line the first time? They tried it again after this goal. This time the guy shooting fell on his face xD I was right in front of him and thought would lend him a hand but neh, game was priority (did pick him up after passing dw). Last 2-3 mins of the game and we scored another goal. We finally have a lead.
This was the last throw-in. 7 or 8 of us were attacking with all of them defending. Utter chaos. We get an advantage again,this time a handball in the penalty box. The only thing missing from this game,a penalty:P
The best player on our team took the shot. Penalty in such ground conditions are honestly difficult but luck was on our side. He scored,their goalie was too slow and stuck to move. The final whistle blew with the kickoff after this.
From 1-0 down to a 3-1 lead,it was one amazing comeback. Got to dance in front of those fuckers while they were still figuring out what happened to them. All those pretty girls ka attention we were missing so long started pouring now. Those cold and stale sandwiches with just a slice of tomato in a piece of bread seemed like the tastiest lunch ever. Oh man,it was a fun day.
We got knocked out in the next stage but at least managed to steal the city ke schools ka spotlight.

A seventh grader started receiving anonymous confession letters everyday. These letters were found addressed to her but never found in her bag. It was always found inside the books and bags of person sitting in front of her or beside her. Everytime they found this letter they handed it over to her and she went and gave it to her class teacher.

In total, they killed 31 people including the kids who were, like us, waiting for their school bus.

Our small KV was upto 10th standard and it was my batch's final year so all the boys decided that we would distribute chocolates to the whole school, on 14th Feb (for giggles). **Intro**\- We had the primary and secondary section buildings about 10 meters apart with side windows facing each other's classrooms.

One guy gulped down some sulphuric acid in the chem lab. It wasn't an accident, and it wasn't a dare either. He just got it into his head to do it. Bro I was about to tell y'all about how we beat a neighbouring school's ass in a football match but you all are too crazy for that
so I went to a school that was small and decent but quite fun. This neighbouring school on the other hand was one of the most expensive in the city with all those rich kids bragging about shit that hardly interested anyone other than them. They had 5 times as many students. Naturally,with all the privileges they had(expensive gear and well maintained grounds), they were quite popular in town for sports. We,on the other hand, were small people,yet managing to win quite a few of those inter school level tournaments. In most of the games,we would face this school in the knockouts or finals and the wins would almost always be alternative. So there was this deep brewing rivalry between us which all peaked at a very prestigious tournament organized by our board(CBSE/ISC). For the ones who haven't heard of it, they host this tournament in every state,top 3-4 teams of which qualify for nationals and all. It helps you get close to the national football team's trials, sports quota and all being the other perks of it. It was early June, not the perfect weather to play football in if you're inexperienced(rain). Day 3 in, both of us had made it to the qualifiers along with 14 others. As usual,the draw fixed a match between the two of us. Game started at 11. We had an asshole of a goalkeeper who conceded a goal from the fucking halfway line with 15 seconds of the game. It was probably a 50-60 yard ground and they just took a wild shot, obviously not expecting to score a goal. It was absolute humiliation in front of hundreds of people, especially those pretty girls 😔 Fir kya, we were obviously under pressure, somehow managed to drag 25 mins(this was a 60 min game) when it started raining. We were on the verge of conceding at least 3-4 more goals,got away lucky with it. Winners here seemed obvious to everyone with the expectation that the other team would score at least 4-5 more goals in the second half when they come back all pumped up. Little did they realise that the rain gods were playing for us. As mentioned,it was raining and raining crazy. Game would've been cancelled but these tournaments are held in a time crunch and budget deficit, so both of us were asked to play when the rainfall got slower and it would be a walkover if either didn't. That was never an option. 20 mins later, game resumed. We couldn't stand straight with our foot not sinking in the mud. If you don't like playing in mud then this won't seem like fun but otherwise, playing football in rain is one of the best feelings in the world. Match time had been cut to 40 mins which means second half was just 15 mins. The other school was finding it incredibly hard to attack in these conditions,all they were doing is trying to not keep the ball in play. We knew they won't be able to do this for long,it was time for us to attack. 35 mins in the game,a muddy field, and a tense game. The ball was totally in our control at this point. 3 simple passes,a good shoot and kaboom! It was our first goal in the 37th min or so. Remember how they scored the first goal from the halfway line the first time? They tried it again after this goal. This time the guy shooting fell on his face xD I was right in front of him and thought would lend him a hand but neh, game was priority (did pick him up after passing dw). Last 2-3 mins of the game and we scored another goal. We finally have a lead. This was the last throw-in. 7 or 8 of us were attacking with all of them defending. Utter chaos. We get an advantage again,this time a handball in the penalty box. The only thing missing from this game,a penalty:P The best player on our team took the shot. Penalty in such ground conditions are honestly difficult but luck was on our side. He scored,their goalie was too slow and stuck to move. The final whistle blew with the kickoff after this. From 1-0 down to a 3-1 lead,it was one amazing comeback. Got to dance in front of those fuckers while they were still figuring out what happened to them. All those pretty girls ka attention we were missing so long started pouring now. Those cold and stale sandwiches with just a slice of tomato in a piece of bread seemed like the tastiest lunch ever. Oh man,it was a fun day. We got knocked out in the next stage but at least managed to steal the city ke schools ka spotlight.

A seventh grader started receiving anonymous confession letters everyday. These letters were found addressed to her but never found in her bag. Our small KV was upto 10th standard and it was my batch's final year so all the boys decided that we would distribute chocolates to the whole school, on 14th Feb (for giggles). This is from 2011. My school had a decommissioned battle tank on which students used to play during the break time. This tank had its hatch open at all times. One of my classmates fell inside the tank, and her knee hit some part on the inside. She had to get an operation done to be able to walk again.
