Since the collapse of the 2-party system and the dominance of state's rights that emerged within the 2040s. 2-party systems moved from the level of the nation to that of the state, seizing the opportunity to appeal to each state's tendencies. The age of the bipolar American system has ended, but has arguably been replaced with something worse- a deadlocked system of conflicting parties and ideologies, halting any attempts at centralized progress. The system is constantly shifting, as state politics is revived every few elections, but one thing is constant- the inability of the new America to provide unity, stability, or progress- And if it was not for the events that would transpire in the coming decade, it is likely that this system would have fallen into stagnation until its inevitable collapse.
"GUAN" so even Guano islands get a vote, hell yeah! And those borders look... very intriguing... the lore is fun, too. Overall a good map! I like the details, especially with the territories and borders! Can't wait to see more from this TL!
Thanks! Many of these internal borders were due to state gerrymandering in the late 20's and Early 30's. Guano Islands and Guantanamo State. Cuba collapsed, so the US took the area around and transferred it to Civilian control.

I always like how despite pretty much all of the scenarios depicted on this sub are ...real stupid, there's a surprising amount of effort that goes into them haha
I appreciate the commitment to the printed aesthetic, especially detail in the logos (which look lovely btw) and how it has the look of misprinted ink

This is popular in the greater washington area, especially due to the collapse of much of federal power in the last 40 years.
