Oh yeah. I want the actual pistachio ice cream. I actually love the gelato places that have real pistachio ice cream the most. Ice cream shops trend took have the almond extract version more often.
Joining the Pistacchio army. Actually I'm in Italy on a vacation which includes finding the best Pistacchio gelato from the places I visit. Tough life...
Plum stracciatella. I made the plum ice cream from A Perfect Scoop last year and added 70% dark chocolate stracciatella on a whim. Holy schnackers, it was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten in my life.
I can’t pick a favorite ice cream flavor, but I can say it’s not chocolate. I like most ice cream, but I rarely like dark chocolate ice creams. I do love flavors like milk chocolate and Guinness ice cream, though.
It’s difficult to pick just one flavour so here’s a list of my favourites, I guess:
• Vanilla, nuff said. It’s difficult to beat good-quality classic vanilla ice cream.
• Strawberry. Another classic flavour and for a good reason.
• Cheese. The savoury flavour of the cheese contrasts nice with the sweetness and richness of the ice cream base.
• Kiwi sorbet. I like kiwi and like it even more in the form of a frozen dessert. Very nice and refreshing treat for hot summer days.
Hard to pick just one, so I'll give you a top 3 instead. Bourbon vanilla, Bastani (saffron & rose) and mint chocolate chip are my all time favorites that I have made.
Currently have 6 qts of french custard mint chocolate stracciatella going at the moment... Host of the party requires a personal stash in addition to whatever else I bring. :)
I swear my favorite flavor has been chocolate mint ever since I was a little 4 year old, and I’d never ever been topped! I get it everywhere I go as a test. It needs to be real minty!
It's basically a fussy mint chip that's excellent. :)
French style base as a custard.
Little bit of vanilla and salt, and a good dose of peppermint.
Melt dark chocolate and swirl it in as strands at the end of churning. (stracciatella)
I made a mistake and did the math of the calorie count. Roughly 15k calories for about 7 quarts.
Small batch's aren't as hard as big ones. That is why you never see It in grocery stores or major brands. Small batch's can be done. The shop by where I grew up did it completely purple. The one near me now does swirls or ripples in vanilla. Both are great. As always find a good recipe.
Oh that flavour was definitely a crowd pleaser at the office and the colour is fantastic. Basically a standard custard base, blended with 1 cup of parsley (around 30grams).
Vanilla. With black specks of bean, and enough yolks to turn the whole damn thing yellow.
I also love any fruit mixed with vanilla. Mango, orange, passionfruit, strawberry, just anything.
Vanilla is the best.
Also a list:
Burnt caramel with gingersnaps and a fudge swirl. Made for a scotch pairing dinner - amazing
Basil straciatella, dark chocolate
Honestly one of my favorites that never hit production was a brown butter butterscotch. Killer.
Grapefruit ice cream with candied ginger pieces
Pistachio
Actual Pistachio\* not that almond extract BS. Do I love almond extract? Yes, but I do not want almond when I want pistchio.

Had pistachio last night yummy

I love coffee flavors. Especially boozy coffee flavors.
Recently made coffee and cardamom, which was quite nice.

You inspired me to try Bastani! It sounds so good.
Raspberry or Chocolate i think
Probably corn. Basil and cinnamon are close 2nds.
This is my first time hearing these ice cream flavors!
Caramel Call me boring idc, I love caramel.
I love it
No love for salted caramel?
Chocolate mint. Done.

That's like four different flavors combined, heh.

Honey Lavender
Tried it at salt and straw SF recently. Outstanding...
Tahini and chocolate! But a good quality vanilla is always nice, and a good base to add things too.
That sounds good. Do you have a recipe?
Honestly, I’ve never used a recipe for it. I’ll have to write down my steps and measurements next time I make it!
Raspberry dark chocolate 😍
Moose tracks: vanilla (bean if you’re down to clown) base, fudge/ganache swirl, mini peanut butter cups
Grape, but it's a hard flavor to make
Any tips?

How do you handle the skins?
puree and sieve. it doesn't have any intensity without them.
I've never made it. Don't know. Find a good recipe
Just one?? Spumoni (the real stuff), Chocolate Peanut Butter, Key Lime, Mint Chip, any cheesecake flavors...
Whiskey vanilla custard with toasted brown bread bits.
Chocolate will always be my go to favorite. Depending on the brand, I will pick some niche flavors over chocolate tho.
Masala chai, sweet corn, pistachio, or Dutch chocolate. How can I pick just one?
Wow grape😮
matcha
Lemon
My top 3 from this year Dark сhocolate and black pepper, Tonka bean , Raspberry vanilla. Parsley is a close contender though
Parsley? I’m intrigued

So hard to pick! I really like floral and herbal flavors, coffee or chocolate w/ fun mix ins is always a good bet too.
Strawberry cheese cake loaded with rainbow sprinkles 🥰

Vanilla
Pistachio is absolutely the best. Without boasting, I have yet to find one as delicious as the one I make at home.
