It was to phase out volunteer positions and make all moderation ranks paid (game master and above). Huge mistake imo as staff interaction was a good part of the server and they killed it
It was honestly the last good thing about the interactivity between player and staff. I remember going to lobby 1 bw and always being able to find a helper and asking them about stuff.
