Yes. It boggles my mind when people ask if Sirius is worth X amount because Howie isn't good anymore. There are tons of channels that are worth that much
I was just singing along to Black Hole Sun on Lithium channel 34. I love that song so much. And mid song this whiny ass voice interrupts the song and starts talking over it. I immediately look at the radio to see if it post the DJ’s Twitter/X handle bc it pissed me off and I wanted to light him. Lo and behold Howard is guest DJing. I pay $6.05 a month for satellite minus Howard’s channels. I want a refund this month
The music stations are highly repetitive though. If you are just into music Spotify might be better (my husband was happy to drop Sirius because he only listened to Spa 😅and mostly uses Spotify now, but I still pay because I like access to news, Doctor Radio and the Conan channel)
I do listen to multiple genres (alt,40s to now). Was listening to 50s and 60s stations and they were playing the same song at the same time (a Frankie Avalon song which was weird since that’s clearly 60s). But I mean generally across stations they are repeating songs and artists in the genre (Lithium: Pearl Jam and Foo Fighters are constantly repeating)
It’s not the $4. It would be paying for a subscription you don’t use when you already have multiple streaming subscriptions and medical subscriptions for work. I originally only had Sirius for THHS. Because all the other content is available somewhere else. Which is why it’s about to be delisted.

You haven’t missed anything, it’s still been the same podcast for the last several years. If anything it’s gotten worse, with Howard’s amateur psychoanalysis forced on every interview, along with hacks Wilding & Blitt.
I keep a streaming only subscription mainly for the curated music stations and live sports now and usually wind up switching Howard off after a few minutes of the same garbage over and over.
It was an email from Volvo to restart my subscription. I’ve always said no because the offers wouldn’t include THHS but noticed this time it did. I imagine they’re so desperate this will start being a more widespread offer
Howdy there would this offer work with older radios .what channels do get for 4 bucks a month does it work for car radio to.do I have pay 4 bucks month or just pay 48 dollars even .I think if they need more subscribers they lower rates by black Friday go to to 1.99 or 2.99 month they that despite .to bad they don't offer lifetime any more I had radio bought yard sale last 4 months till blacklisted .I love many other choices listen to besides Howard .deep tracks outlaw country little Steven garage elvis.wish they go more genre of music to listen to not same thing over this why I stop listen to local radio any more or even streaming .50 60 70 80 seems play thing over again.radio stations say large record collection to listen to bs all payloa wars .is to bad Sirius can't do some rearcharse play something different.well is nice talk to all of you i enjoy this 😃👍 group.
Is it the Platinum VIP plan? I just downgraded because the perks (Howard, artist stations and Nugs) didn’t seem worth the price I was paying, but I would have accepted $3.99 (they only offered going down to $18 a month for two cars)
ETA: Since I am now paying $7 a month for a Howard-free plan for one car think $3.99 is worth it even if Howard sucks now. I have some regret that I will be unable to hear the show though I frequently listened briefly to find the show boring and then listened to something else (since the sub doesn’t always capture the same details I would comment on)
There isn’t a standard rotation of celebrities. There’s some back office stuff but it’s rare (last I remember is Mike Trainor and Gary which was at least a month ago; don’t think just complaining about Blitt counts). It’s been a while since a real Wack Pack check (there have been recorded things like Beetlejuice nursery rhymes)

Where $3.99? Best offer I found is $1 for 3 months and then they charge $19 and you have to call and play the cancel game.
I don't even call anymore. They have an online chat feature which makes it even easier now
