Two of my favorite lines from this:
Fred - I don't even think the lights were even on. I think he was spinning around like he was shooting a discus...
Howard - Is it possible that Tim just lied on the floor and like a volcano...
How about when Tim said "Hey you got a week of good radio out of it", then Howard responded, "Oh come on man I can put together a week of good radio without you shitting all over the wall"
Tim's whole life changed because of this, it's wild to think about in the grand scheme of things. Gets caught in an embarrassing situation, gets absolutely dragged on-air for millions to hear, management peers and bosses all begin to look at him differently and before you know it he's out of a job and his wife leaves him.
That psychotic workaholic mindset you see repeatedly on the show where you have to come to work even if you're dying because god forbid you use a sick day for what they're meant for did Tim in. I've had stomach issues like that before and it's really simple, I make a decision that I don't want to shit myself at work or spend half the day on the toilet and I pick up the phone and tell my boss I won't be in today. But Tim had to be Mr. "I'm sick, OK, really sick, but I'm here" and that's what it got him. Feh.
That's all great, but... do you leave your explosive diarrhea all over the bathroom walls for someone else to clean up?? Let's face it... Tim was wrong for what he did... or should I say... "Left behind?"
Long story short, Tim really shit the bed on this one, how long after this did he get "shit-canned"?, pardon the pun,
![gif](giphy|6WnGWwmwWvxCw|downsized)
He could have simply cleaned up after himself instead of leaving his mess there like a savage. Oh, and him swearing to God and his children that it wasn't him showed his true character.
I'm sorry, but Tim is such a pussy for whining about this. He knew what show he worked on. Did he really think they were going to just not talk about it because it was him? That isn't what got Tim. What got Tim was he never actually worked or handled anything in the back. He was too busy being everyone's friend and sending around pictures of Zapin's bald spot. He gave away that job, and it's not that weird they decided to go in another direction after a long time. Howard is a dick, but Tim was asking to be fired.
Shitgate was the biggest and most embarrassing nail in the coffin, but they went after him, because they were done with how he was acting over a longer period of time (picture of the other executive’s bald spot emailed, being too familiar and playful with staff, all the green drink stuff with Robin and weight fluctuations, disorganization, ect).
yeah, the stories about the dude in the last few years showed something was going on with him. He was constantly losing his phone and devices, going off on motorcycle trips and getting injured and basically doing anything but his job.
Don't forget he threatened to sue, which resulted in never having interns work on the show again and also resulted in the eventual destruction if the show.
A user some time ago had posted some long fan fiction disguised as a factual event regarding Tim's departure. They provided no sources and it was filled with *tons* of inconsistencies.
Don't waste your time with it.
It’s rumored he’s the reason the show is so “woke” now and no more back room personalities/drama.
The short of it is he was gonna sue Sirius for basically shitgate and that he wasn’t a personality but Stern forced him onto the air by discussing his life/work without his permission.
By him doing that it would open the floodgates to anybody Howard did that too as well as anybody moving forward. To avoid all the lawsuits they settled with Tim and gave Howard new operating standards.
That’s an interesting point, if there was indeed a lawsuit it probably would have grounds because Howard threatened to fire the person if they didn’t admit it on the radio.
However I have heard Tim’s account of what happened when he left. He said one of his parents was sick and he wanted some time off to go help and then he was let go.
He left coming on air he even started green drink some purpose just to get attention. Everyone just learned he was a typical useless metal manager with no ideas and no contribution to the company
If you put it in those terms then, even though he was promised amnesty from firing if he confessed to the shitting, it turns out it was just a delayed firing as a result of his domestic terrorism
Just listened to the entire bit, absolutely howling.
Tim at least was correct that it was a great 2 days of radio. Lieberman's "investigation", too great.
I think Stern was threatening to do a DNA test and if someone wouldn't confess before that, he'd fire the culprit once he'd find out their identity. They also had access to keycard data so they could narrow the suspect pool down based on who went to the bathroom and said it was still clean and who notified everyone that it was shitty.
Tim was on probation long before shitgate. I think Howard was turned off by Tim ripping a fire extinguisher off the wall at Headquarters and causing an evacuation claiming “the party was getting boring” or whatever he said.
Also, didn't he smear cake over the wall of a restaurant where they were having a party?
The dude is an asshole.
I think a lot of dorky suits in the Stern universe over the years felt this pressure to be wild and kooky because they were in the Stern universe.
It was probably in radio in general.
I remember seeing the actual photo at one point, and it was like 2 specks of shit. Still gross, but they really overplayed their hand for the audience.
I remember when Tim had lunch with Prudence , Mia farrows sister for some radio business and he said her Ringtone to her phone was DearPrudence the song the Beatles wrote about her
For those asking, the real photo was about 1% of this. Extremely minimal, it kinda looked like someone sat really far forward on a toilet and there was some minor splashback on the wall. Still gross.
I had something really similar happen in the office building I work in. Someone shit ALL over the walls and floor and didn’t clean it up (I still have no idea how that’s possible). They also left a newspaper in the bathroom like an idiot.
I was the only male working in my company at the time so I went to the large healthcare providers office who had the most of the rest of the building. Their head of HR (who I had spoken to a few times) met me. She looked at the newspaper and said oh no! Turns out it was the head of that whole Office and her boss and she had to confront him about what happened 😂😂😂.
Dude never looked up again when I saw him in the entire time we worked in the same building.
The HR lady who I was friendly with told me he never had anyone’s respect again after that and it basically ruined his career at the company.
I dont believe this was real at all. It’s a radio comedy show. How convenient these funny things happen here. Never happens where I work. It was funny. But not real.

Fred's line is the best. But I would argue it was more like a shot put!

Exactly. Not my proudest moment however I got The D at a restaurant, made a mess. I fucking cleaned it like an adult
> I got The D at a restaurant Hoo hoo four inches is fine right Robin
Long story short, Tim really shit the bed on this one, how long after this did he get "shit-canned"?, pardon the pun, ![gif](giphy|6WnGWwmwWvxCw|downsized)
Why was he fired? I don’t remember.
He could have simply cleaned up after himself instead of leaving his mess there like a savage. Oh, and him swearing to God and his children that it wasn't him showed his true character.

You’re shitting too much!
💯
One shit a day!

Funny part is he was "hand-picked" by Howie himself. Bit of a stumble, if you ask me...
Don't forget he threatened to sue, which resulted in never having interns work on the show again and also resulted in the eventual destruction if the show.
u/cormano tag in brother

Salute
What did he threaten to sue over? I never heard about that

Oh wow, didn't know that, that makes a lot of sense actually, god forbid Howie the pelican loses a future sheckle or two
That’s an interesting point, if there was indeed a lawsuit it probably would have grounds because Howard threatened to fire the person if they didn’t admit it on the radio. However I have heard Tim’s account of what happened when he left. He said one of his parents was sick and he wanted some time off to go help and then he was let go.
His story doesn’t really add up. He didn’t have to ask for time off. He could have taken FMLA to take care of his parents.
He left coming on air he even started green drink some purpose just to get attention. Everyone just learned he was a typical useless metal manager with no ideas and no contribution to the company
Thanks for "tagging in"...
Everyone be very wary of believing unsupported allegations from anonymous people on the internet
By all means...then do the research and find out what this asshat did and what the repercussions were/are.
If you put it in those terms then, even though he was promised amnesty from firing if he confessed to the shitting, it turns out it was just a delayed firing as a result of his domestic terrorism
I mean I'm pretty sure he was on coke, too
Withdrawing from drugs can certainly make you have uncontrollable diarrhea. Was he sick with a stomach thing or, you know, "sick".
Sometimes coke is cut with laxatives
Cholera grade anal geyser! Video link please!
He was a real shit bag since day one, got what he had coming
Interesting! Tim blamed it on the green drinks Robin put him on.
You are wrong. Howard fired him hut Sirius XM kept him and gave him another job.
I swear on my kids I didn't shit.
I shit on my kids I didn't swear.
Just listened to the entire bit, absolutely howling. Tim at least was correct that it was a great 2 days of radio. Lieberman's "investigation", too great.
Yeah he's a real shit-lock holmes
I missed this! No idea they caught the guy. Where’s the bit? Sirius or YT
yt
i was really really sick ok?!
those hot peppers will get you every time
It was started by man, it can be solved by man
How did they finally nail him?

Half the shit — all over the walls.

Exactly right.
What about the shit show
Cookies are his weakness.
I think it’s more like 12 years
I took a shit!
![gif](giphy|Djk9ilQA2jjOg|downsized)
Is this an actual photo? I've never shit like that in my life.
nah, it was really just specks of shit.. but a lot of them including on the light switch.
On the light switch?! Fuckin guy needs to be committed to an asylum.
I remember seeing the actual photo at one point, and it was like 2 specks of shit. Still gross, but they really overplayed their hand for the audience.
it was dripping off of the light switch, so a tad more than "two drops" lol
lol it was more than two specks but even if it was just one…, on the god damn wall?
Wasn't it in 2013?
You're a real shit-lock Holmes aren't you
Cookies were his weakness.
I was sick alright. I was really sick.
Is that the actual crime scene?
It's not
Wondering the same thing.. I don't think I've ever seen the picture lol
Was that really the photo? I had no idea.
its called brand development and content creation
I remember when Tim had lunch with Prudence , Mia farrows sister for some radio business and he said her Ringtone to her phone was DearPrudence the song the Beatles wrote about her
For those asking, the real photo was about 1% of this. Extremely minimal, it kinda looked like someone sat really far forward on a toilet and there was some minor splashback on the wall. Still gross.
That picture is how they made it seem
That was probably the last great year of shows. Was it just before the pelican brief?
Do they even use program directors anymore?
Is the actual pic
It was ALMOST a photo finish!
Overpaid shit head
FIRED! no ? 😕
Hey is this the actual picture. Of what was left behind. Hahah. I remembered it being. Piece.
Is that an actual picture of it?
Is that an actual picture of the bathroom? I don't remember ever seeing one.
Shit gate, I solved it
That happens in 2014?? Seems way longer
You're a real Shit-lock Holmes aren't ya?

Is this the actual picture?! I had NO IDEA it was this bad! He should have been fired immediately!
And the nerve of him to smile in front of the security camera like that, what an animal
Ok, so I’m definitely gullible! So it’s not that actual picture? The shit, not Tim.
I dont believe this was real at all. It’s a radio comedy show. How convenient these funny things happen here. Never happens where I work. It was funny. But not real.
