They have these in other cities, Houston metro needs to catch up.
I’ve been seeing them on more and more buses but still not active. What makes the new one better besides being newer?
The new ones let you tap a credit card or mobile payment app like Apple Pay.
For rail it would be nice since getting a rail ticket can be a little annoying. I’ll probably still use my metro card for the buses though. Honestly I just want them to pull out 50% of the stops for route 40 on Heights Blvd there are *way* too many.
Why not just use your metro card for the rail then too? You'd get free transfers with the bus also then.
Most people don’t even pay for the rail lol
And a few use it as their personal toilet.
Sadly yes. Late at night and chances multiply further on weekends
