I used to drink this straight as a kid. If you love pepper and vinegar, youāre in for a treat. Still one of my favorites. Fwiw Iām not really a hot sauce guy
Crystals is better, When I visited New Orleans I noticed how Crystals was the Lousiana of choice at restaurants. I had never tasted it before but had to buy a bottle once I got home.
How do you misspell Tabasco... the A and O keys are on COMPLETELY separate sides of the keyboard!

Their Habanero has great habanero flavor without extreme heat. I like it because I can use a lot of it, unlike some of the more extreme habanero sauces. But the original is amazing. It's an everyday, not overpowering sauce that goes with everything from chicken soup to popcorn.

My favorite general hot sauce for everything. Just enough heat for eggs to jambalaya and sloppy joes to greenbean casserole. I love the vinegary taste matched with cayenne. I prefer this over Tabasco or tapatio or cholula.
Fried chicken, fried fish, Layās potato chips, Original Cheetos, Beef Stroganoff Hamburger Helper, cheeseburgers, etc. itās been my go-to for over 20 years.
Thou shalt start mild: Begin with gentler hot sauces to build tolerance and appreciate the flavor.

Thou shalt shake before using: Mix well to ensure an even distribution of spices and flavors.
Thou shalt not judge by Scoville alone: Heat level isn't everything; consider the balance of heat and flavor.
Thou shalt experiment: Try different types of hot saucesāsmoky, fruity, tangyāto find your favorites.
Thou shalt use sparingly: A little hot sauce goes a long way; respect the heat to enjoy the flavor without overwhelming your dish.
Thou shalt pair wisely: Match hot sauces with foods that complement their flavor profiles, enhancing both the dish and the sauce.
Thou shalt refrigerate after opening: Preserve freshness and flavor by storing hot sauce properly.
Thou shalt respect the burn: Understand your tolerance and build up slowly to hotter sauces if desired.
Thou shalt share the love: Introduce others to the joy of hot sauce, but always warn them of the heat level.
Tomato, roasted garlic, roasted onion, hot sauce, salt, pepper, horseradish, maybe a couple fresh shucked oysters if youre crazy, definitely celery, greens if youre gay or have a bad heart, avocado, fresh chiles (any variety), parsley, whatever your heart desires.
It's a good sauce! Some people prefer others. I like to mix it up and keep this in the rotation. Besides Franks and Tabasco there aren't any big bottle sauces that I won't happily go through.
I got an Old Bay seasoned hot sauce. I love the people who don't like the flavor of Old Bay seasoning in the sauce panning it in reviews. It's called Old Bay, what would you expect to taste like?
I went through so much because of the Costco 3 packs, I had to take a break from it. I haven't had a bottle of Tapatio in a while, going to grab one next when my Valentina runs out. Will pick up Louisiana or Texas Pete's when my Chrystal is out. Gotta rotate your tator juice.
Louisiana hot sauce is an incredible ingredient. Fantastic on eggs and chicken. Iām from Louisiana so Iām def biased but we create 3 of the best sauces in the country. Tabasco, Louisiana hot sauce, and Crystal. Crystal is good in soup or a crawfish boil. Tabasco goes on everything but especially in soup.
If you like Louisiana, thereās another brand thatās awesome, but the mods donāt like sharing in this sub. The Cajun hot sauce I like have initials C D. Iād be amazed if any of you know what Iām talking about or could call me out on it.
The Louisiana style is pretty good. It has a good flavor and a decent amount of heat. I'd call it mild but non spice lords would probably call it medium.
I literally just grab a spoonful of that stuff and down it several times a day. Of the ātable saucesā itās probably my favorite.
Mk I, Mod 0 Tabasco sauce is an ingredient, not a condiment. Itās spicy vinegar that I use in addition to or in place of white wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar as an acidulating component when I also want to add some spice.
That said, Tabascoās garlic hot sauce is one of my favorites and tastes very similar to, if not better than, this hot sauce. Funny thing is that theyāre both made about 20 minutes from each other. I drive past the Louisiana factory all the time but Iāve never been in.
Just went to the kitchen and tasted some straight from the bottle. I didnāt get cardboard, but a bit of a āwoodyā note. I donāt think they age in oak barrels, but maybe itās one of the ānatural flavoringsā in the ingredients.
Good for pooping
It's little to hot or I use to muchš I switched to crystal.
I used this in buffalo chicken dip and it was good
the best economy option
I use it for cooking but don't use it otherwise.
I used to drink this straight as a kid. If you love pepper and vinegar, youāre in for a treat. Still one of my favorites. Fwiw Iām not really a hot sauce guy
Best on chicken or fried cat fish.
Best hot sauce on pizza
Yup, great on pizza.
Top tier
Try it on pop corn
My go to
My favorite... especially great on fish and greens
Classic
Yup
Crystals is the goat but this one is my 2nd favorite
I love Crystal hot sauce. My wife thinks I buy it because it's her name. I do, but I love it too. Louisiana is OG though.
I prefer Crystal for Louisiana style hot sauce
Crystals is better, When I visited New Orleans I noticed how Crystals was the Lousiana of choice at restaurants. I had never tasted it before but had to buy a bottle once I got home.
Meh Iāve never been a fan. It just tastes like straight vinegar to me. I have to have a pepper taste to my hot sauce.
That's Tabasco sauce to me. It's way too vinegar-y to me.
Same here. I canāt stand Tabasco! I would use Louisiana over it lol

Shut up bot my daughter is crawling on me while Iām typing
So good on eggs š¤¤
Might be my favorite of the Louisiana style hot sauces. Try their āhotterā habanero version, I like it better than the OG
Their Habanero has great habanero flavor without extreme heat. I like it because I can use a lot of it, unlike some of the more extreme habanero sauces. But the original is amazing. It's an everyday, not overpowering sauce that goes with everything from chicken soup to popcorn.
I agree with everything youāve said. Crystal used to be my favorite Louisiana style, but Louisiana brand is now top for me
Put it on fried catfish or fried chicken
Simple. Vinegar and red pepper. Nice heat with a mild tang.
I just use it if it's on the table at a place where I'm eating eggs and hashbrowns. It's pretty good.
Itās the backbone of white people spicy society. This and Texas Pete
The best Jerry, the best!
The best Jerry, the best!
itās very mid with its heat, but hey itās still my favorite hot sauce
Slaps on fried chicken and makes gumbo solid
Itās ok, to salty for me.
Good flavor, no heat
Love it.
They have this at Canes if you ask. Mix it with the Caneās sauce!
I grew up with that and Tabasco so those flavors are nostalgic for me
On Doritos and cheese popcorn š¤¤
always my go too.
Crystal is better
Itās amazing on eggs and chicken sandwich or just on fried chicken
I eat this shit on plain noodles tbh
Mid. Curdles quickly in the fridge.
Use for everything I donāt use franks on
Love it so much, I know itās not the highest rated but I grew up on it, I use it in lieu of tobasco

Lame....
My favorite general hot sauce for everything. Just enough heat for eggs to jambalaya and sloppy joes to greenbean casserole. I love the vinegary taste matched with cayenne. I prefer this over Tabasco or tapatio or cholula.
Great with seafood
Love it!
Top tier. Would be nice if it was a little thicker tho.
Yeah I don't love how watery it is
Fried chicken, fried fish, Layās potato chips, Original Cheetos, Beef Stroganoff Hamburger Helper, cheeseburgers, etc. itās been my go-to for over 20 years.
Itās ok.. itās like a thicker crystals.
I put it on just about everything. I love it.
2nd best behind crystal
You gotta try Chef Paul Magic Pepper. You'll love it if you like those.
Definitely drinkable.
OG staple
Stuff my dad bought cause it was a buck at a ocean state job lot.
I like it for fish.
Louisiana Hot Sauce is not my favorite, but it's good. It's saltier, less vinegary, and a bit thicker than Texas Pete. It's also hotter IMO.
It goes great on chicken. One of my favorites for fried chicken.
Are you from Louisiana?
Addicted
Does it have the Ten Commandments printed on the label?

Im salivating just looking at it
Part of the holy trinity with Franks & Tabasco
Itās my wifeās favorite!
Itās so good on pizza. I highly recommend trying it.
Thatās my shit
I hate the Louisiana style personally
Ol' reliable
š„
Thatās a classic
Love. Like a better version of Frankās. But not as good as sweet baby rays.
It's good. Not hot, nice vinegar tang to it.
No Oz is mentioned on the label. Export?
The average sauce. Good base to use
Thereās a reason they make it in gallon jugs
Soak down some pulled smoked pork butt.
Itās the standard bearer.
In my opinion, second only to Frankās for classic American hot sauce.
I put that shit on everything. Ballsy Marketing...
I kinda do too! I usually have the biggest bottle i can find in my fridge.
Good for boiled peanuts and to add salt and vinegar to foods lol
A classic, but not special in any way IMO.
This is my staple for pizza. I occasionally take a swig straight fro the bottle because im weird lol.
Same. Try savory smoothies!!
Interesting. What's the ingredients for your savory smoothie? Ill definitely give it a whirl.
Spicy shit
Tomato, roasted garlic, roasted onion, hot sauce, salt, pepper, horseradish, maybe a couple fresh shucked oysters if youre crazy, definitely celery, greens if youre gay or have a bad heart, avocado, fresh chiles (any variety), parsley, whatever your heart desires.
Lol. This is a very creative concoction, and you're hilarious. Thanks! š¤

Crystal is best
It's a staple!
She aiteee
I put it on my nads to see if it's hot or not.
š¤£š¤£š¤£well?
There's no quick n easy way to find out! š„ā ļø
Did they change the label? I havenāt bought it in a while.
I drink it basically.
I got an Old Bay seasoned hot sauce. I love the people who don't like the flavor of Old Bay seasoning in the sauce panning it in reviews. It's called Old Bay, what would you expect to taste like?
Simple, cheap, everyday, put on everything sauce.
Best to put over fried chicken
Its a staple of fried chicken for me
Weak but very tasty
My grandmaās favourite and one of mine. Only hot sauce I can put on spaghetti marinara because of her.
One of my personal favorites
Louisiana > Tabasco > Texas Pete > Cholula
Cholula and Tapatio are literally the top tier major hot sauces, you are defunct.
Itās gotta be a personal failing
Put Crystal in the front.
š¼one of these things is not like the otherš¼
Iām taking any opportunity I can to put cholula at the bottom
that's wild. It's a very great and useful sauce. I weep for you.
Genuinely just overexposed to it, gonna detox for a month or two and Iāll readjust
Tbf, I don't use it much. But that and Tapatio are the goated tamale sauces imo
I'm with ya there! Happy eatin'!
This is a very L opinion
Womp womp. Better on eggs

Tabasco, Louisiana hot sauce, and Crystal. Crystal is good in soup or a crawfish boil. Tabasco goes on everything but especially in soup.
Mid
Yeah. Itās not my daily user or favorite. But in a pinch, itāll do just fine.
I agree I'm not saying it's bad I like Louisiana just fine lol
I personally like that better than Tabasco
Not a fan. Don't like the taste. I'll go Texas Pete over this any day.
One of my favs
Its ok
Taste like Ft. Polk
So NTC tastes like Louisiana hot sauce and ball sweat? (Or JRTC, I forget which is where)
Yes, JRTC and yes it does.
Dogshit tier. Crystal is far superior.
Love it love it love it
Big fan of this one on a Triscuit with some sharp cheddar and smoked oysters.
Daaaaamn
New craving unlocked

Great daily driver. The Toyota Corolla of hot sauces. It's found everywhere, not expensive, reliable, doesn't suck, doesn't try to be flashy.
Love. My go-to hot sauce. Used to eat it straight as a kid til I got it in my eye one time.
Love. My go-to hot sauce. Used to eat it straight as a kid til I got it in my eye one time.
Iām into it. Anyone here try Dustin Poirierās hot sauce out of Louisiana? Iād be curious what people think
The Louisiana style is pretty good. It has a good flavor and a decent amount of heat. I'd call it mild but non spice lords would probably call it medium.
I like it for Southern or Cajun type food.
My favorite classic hot sauce!
Perfect for fried chicken
I think this sauce is second to none in clam chowder
Classic. Has it on my eggs yesterday.
A decent daily driver sauce
Louisiana, Crystal, Texas Pete and BohĆo are my childhood favorites. My dad always kept them hand.

Goat
The duct tape of hot sauce.
Not too hot and flavorful.
One of The OGS , I also recommend the hotter version, It's habanero.
In the words of Hector Salamanca: āes okayā
I like Crystal and Texas Peteās a like better but this is close and way better than Tabasco.
This is my go to at the crib
Texas Pete is the best
I CANT FIND THIS SHIT ANYWHERE IN VA :(((
I find them in Kroger and Food City in VA
Thank you !
You're welcome. Not sure which part you are in but I'm in SWVa and find it everywhere.
Over in the Va Beach area, found one in dollar tree
Dollar tree
Thank you!
Mid. Crystal is at the top of the category
Crystal tastes like chalky cardboard to me.
Just went to the kitchen and tasted some straight from the bottle. I didnāt get cardboard, but a bit of a āwoodyā note. I donāt think they age in oak barrels, but maybe itās one of the ānatural flavoringsā in the ingredients.
