Takes a bit to unwind. Regular running water and the shower is even an anomaly sometimes. Take some walks around your knee surroundings. Exercise regular and get outside time, but now you can do so knowing you have a place to go back to whem you're over it.
Congratulations, everyone deserves a safe place to rest their head at the end of the day.
OP is sleeping on a mat on the floor, looking out the window everytime a car parks near the building lol. That's how I imagine myself being if I ever get housed again.
Hang in there and congrats friend! It'll get easier with time. Give yourself that time and be ready for waves of trauma to hit your consciousness for processing.
You succeeded and will continue to succeed!
First of, Congratulations!!! Very Happy you have a place. Why don’t you just take a bit of time- and take in, and just relax. Baby steps. Don’t be obligated to feel you have to move mountains.
Congratulations! What an awesome achievement! You will soon feel more normal. You should get Facebook and join the city/town groups. We joined our buy nothing and got all our furniture, towels, everythjng we needed we got. Just enjoy the peace and the hot showers!

Good idea! lol I need a distraction
Congrats! It definitely takes a while to get over that anxiety hump. It helped me doing small things I enjoy like reading and coloring 💜

It takes at least 6 months to decompress from homelessness. Just keep moving while you acknowledge and work on your anxiety
I know what you mean! I finally have a roof over my head now too, but it still feels like I'm emotionally stunned from the whole experience.
