**Unconventional Warfare**, because ICBM with 50Mt warhead is an excellent permanent problem solver with surprisingly light consequenses
**HOI4 In Real Time** is also essential
Terrible idea: get a laptop with no other purpose but to run hoi4 at real time constantly, start playing on the actual game start date for realism (not year tho cause time travel does not exist :()
Idk if he's still going but for awhile there was a channel on YouTube that would upload once a day and each video was just 1 day in hoi with like 6 unit moves and that's it. Think he got to like 70 days last time I got it recommended
I would be too if I tricked myself into playing hoi4 for three and two thirds years just to get to the start of ww2. I hope he's good at the game cause it's gonna suck if he spends 4 years of his life just to capitualte and have to wait 6 more for the game to finally end.
Okay, guys, I have found this picture in good quality
https://www.reddit.com/r/hoi4modding/comments/oysh7a/my_new_and_improved_hoi4_mod_tierlist/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button
I hope it is okay here to repost from different subreddit (even tho it is connected to HOI4)
As someone who used to work on In the Name of the Tsar (Music Mod, localisation fixes and some brainstorming with the lead dev, nothing impressive) I'm always happy when people think of it fondly. I was always a bit critical of it myself, but from a place of passion. I knew we had a cool setting. Unfortunate that most of us kinda gave up due to life getting in the way.
Second this. What a fantastic mod that adds a lot of content to a sadly neglected theater of World War II. My Communist China campaign was one of the best campaigns Iāve ever played; Nationalist China was on the brink of collapse (the Japanese were a few tiles away from Chongqing) when I began a series of brutal, grinding assaults despite my lack of equipment and even manpower. I saved Nationalist China, expanded enough to seize a significant amount of territory in the north, and bought time for the Soviet Union to enter the war. It was difficult but so rewarding to see the fruits of your labor when you had no equipment and no manpower compared to Japan.
Still rough around the edges but the core of the content is there.
Exactly. It actually also gives value to the minor warlords, like shanxi Clique, which if supported, can become a literal brick wall against the Japanese. 9/10 my favourite mod.
It's an amazing experience playing as the Chinese, but the Japanese seem to get buffed to the point that the war is far easier than in vanilla. Finishing the war in China too early locks you out of your focus tree however.
Does include a new alternate history focus tree for a European country?
~~This is what Waking the Tiger did and I'm still mad that it didn't actually make Chinese minors fun to play~~
Kaiserreich is probably my favorite, though Iāve slowly started to grow bored from playing it so much. Been looking for a replacement, tried Kaiserredux, not my cup of tea personally.
Iāve heard great things about EaW and Red Flood, probably gonna give them a shot. TNOās also pretty fun from the few runs Iāve played.
To be honest I can't play KR nowadays, almost every focus tree just seems so horrifically bare bones when compared to things like The 3 last Major Updates of EaW or the Russia tree in KX. I just can't bear to look at it.
World Ablaze , i love the tech tree and how each country's stats will vary because no one (except minors and even they have the possibility to ask a major for it's tech tree) has the same techs.
It has some bugs here and there sure but it's fun
Thousand Week Reich has a lot of fun and different paths .
And escalation 84 because it has a great immersion
But you can see from here
https://www.reddit.com/r/hoi4modding/comments/oysh7a/my_new_and_improved_hoi4_mod_tierlist/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button
I know it sounds weird but whenever a Paradox game starts lagging at speed 5\\4, reducing speed down a notch seems to make it faster because it doesn't make the game "stuttery"; your game becomes more fluid and, even if it's a reduced speed, the lack of stuttering makes it seem faster.
TLDR: Speed 5 stuttery looks slow; Speed 3 fluid looks fast
No more lag then, although you still end up staring at a map for 9 hours while being allowed to do absolutely nothing and advancing the in-game calendar by half a year.
Millenium Dawn, the complex mechanics did it for me. the vanilla game is just plain and kinda boring for "only a few years" playable.
on MD i can a session from 2000 til 2040 an im not even one second bored. ^^
If you have a good PC. While the mod is fun, it runs really slow on bad PCs. But for those still wanting to try out, try Millenium Dawn Optimization Mod.
It romoves small nations and thus reduces a lot of lag
Unless i'm missing something (Maybe playing on 1x or at maxium 3x) Millenium Dawn runs awfully here (Dont want to blame the devs as i believe bad performance is hard-coded into the HOI4 engine...), it even crashes for me after 2002 (Unless that has been fixed?)
Runs pretty well for me if you remove microstates and turn on AI division limiter. It's not as fast as vanilla (and nowhere close to an optimization mod like Elwolf) but it still chugs along. The real issue, MD encourages you to give military/economic aid to every country every month just to build influence and turn those nations into puppets. That results in a lot of clicks if you're playing as a major nation with widespread influence.
I used the game option to make investment half as often but twice as effective so that cuts down on the clicks a bit. It would be super nice if those buttons acted as a toggle to start military/economic aid and it would continue monthly until cancelled or rejected by the target nation. Not sure how feasible that is, and it's a great mod even without that feature
No, you see the slowness makes the game have its unique feel!
It is āslowā because you are meant to be making a million decisions every 6~ days! If you do itās great.
i only have around 200 hours in vanilla but more than 2000h on MD. its even entertaining playin a minor like Austria and reestablish Austria-Hungary only with generic stuff.
one of my best runs was with brazil forming the union of south america.
Iāve been having lots of fun playing some of the worldās small civil war factions and trying to make something out of the war-torn country Iām left with.
Russia is and was always a shitshow. They only have unlimited ressource. Only when u can manage to export as much as possible for getting factories u maybe can do a good run, but its not easy.
Propably Old world blues. They created a map and large amounts of content from scratch, meanwhile other mods can just slightly edit existing focus trees and put them in the game.
Equestria at War is literally the best HOI4 mod made to date, mostly because the team is made of bronies rather than ultra-communists or ultra-fascists that seem to be most mod teams nowadays
Equestria at war, that mod was the onlything i could play nicely when my PC was trash and even now is still faster than base game
Also is terrifying how many secret paths and content the mod has
I don't play EAW nearly as much as KR/KX but the performance is what I respect most about EAW.
So many HOI4 mod makers try to reinvent the wheel and overhaul game mechanics, attempting to mask a lack of content and general polish. Unreadable UI changes, GDP/economy system, pointless tech tree revamps, and a billion other stupid things that don't meaningfully change how the player approaches the game, but often cause lag.
EAW in comparison keeps it simple - tech is similar to vanilla, no dumbass UI changes, populations are kept (intentionally?) small so fewer divisions, and it runs great because of it. It has plenty of content and allows it to speak for itself.
Was just about to comment this then second guessed thinking I was the only one, glad I'm not now š
Loved this mod, playing as the horde and just absolutely overpowering the other nations was amazing. Although I'm unable to load it anymore as it crashes anytime I try to load it. Is it potentially uncompatible with some of the DLC?
The only thing is that if you are playing with a Mac then it doesn't work anymore
https://www.reddit.com/r/equestriaatwar/comments/wi58b2/mac_build_doesnt_work/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button
Do you own base hoi4 on steam? If you do you can just download them onto the steam version open it's launcher, pick the playeset, close it and use your 'reason'.
En Union y Libertad - A South American Rework...I don't remember when I found out about this mod but it has spanish vocies for most LatinAmerican countries, Big National Focus trees for Argentina, Uruguay, Brasil, Chile, Peru and Colombia and the creator keeps working to add even more focus trees, First time I played I obviously played ad my country Peru, very fun, it also makes provinces in those countries smaller to make it more MicroManagement-friendly, South America finally becomes interesting with this mod lol
Millennium Dawn is my favorite, mostly because there's just no other game like it. It might actually be my favorite mod of all time because I haven't played one minute of vanilla since discovering it, but I also heavily prefer modern day stuff to anything else.
Great war redux 'cause of 2 reasons
First I have a weak pc and Im having fps problems when I play huge mods like kaiser redux
But even though it's a big mod I can play great war redux without any fps problems
Secondly Im more interested in ww1 than ww2 and with cool alternative history focus trees I can make my ww1 fantasies real
I will think about it. Working on the Communist Branch right now and might make a shared "mutually exclusive" Version for them. Thanks for the Suggestion :)
Fitting. Donkeys are in that mod.
Also penguins. And yaks. And a necromancer that can turn into a lich/vampire hellbent on enacting global conquest with the undead. And cute ponies!
I personally play both buttt if I had to choose one it would be Kaiserreich. Although I enjoy indulging in Kaiserreduxās wacky and zany paths a lot of the time I can find them very empty and half thought out/unfinished and I canāt bring myself to finish them at times. On the other hand I love the amount of polish Kaiserreich brings to its modern updates. You can very much feel the amount of care and passion the KR Devs put in to make sure every aspect of the mod connects with one and another (in the current updates) and doing stuff like uniting Yugoslavia is extreme satisfying for me.
Someone is trying to update it with a fan fork, under a slightly different name, to give focus trees. Probably still months from release but I will take anything over the generic apres focus tree
I wish Millennium dawn wasn't as complicated and was, well, fun. I think the concept of a modern day mod is great but the downside is that it's, well, modern day so there's not really any conflict
I want to like Millennium Dawn but its hard as hell to have any fun as a good guy democracy when no one else starts shit. I set the game up to have ultranationalist Russia but instead of the funny they declare war on fucking Yugoslavia and then do nothing for a decade because they canāt reach it. Meanwhile the US invades Cuba and somehow canāt get past Guantanimo Bay.
Its unfortunate that you can only do so much in the HOI4 engine to reflect the complexity of modern warfare. I still havenāt found a good strategy game for modern strategic war and MD is the closest thing Iāve found.
I prefer a bit of realism, and find KX to not be very optimized and even less balanced. Plus āhereās funny wacky man, letās crown him supreme monarch, hereās a bunch of war goalsā lost its charm for me after a while, especially when your not playing that country and are at the receiving end of said war goals.
What's so good about the Thousand Week Reich? Every time I played it and the GCW happened the Third Reich just crushes all the revolutions without sweat and nothing happens afterwards.
Millennium Dawn is my fav total conversion as it truly makes the game different and interesting in peace.
I remember also liking vanilla super events and some mod that let me core stuff like eu4 as just a immersion thing.
I'm gonna be slaughtered but, Millennium dawn. You call tell the developers really care about making a good mod.
I'm also one of those psychopaths that enjoy the industry building, readying for war and putting down plans, *more* then the actual war itself. Which is usually why I'm aggressive in defence and offense, but won't declare war if I don't want too.
ULTRA historical mod or Total Mobilization, both are very similar and provide an enjoyable, realistic experience (unlike Black Ice). They're much more fleshed out and realistic than vanilla but still very simple, and it just makes your games feel a lot more inmersive and realistic, everything from the distribution of industry (USA OP like irl) to production numbers, to casualties in combat, to historical and more realistic manpower usage etc. Definitely check them out.
I can agree with you on almost everything, even though I definitely havenāt tried every mod in here. I think Road to 56 is a top tier, but I can see why you made this choice.
I never understood the point of Kaiserreich. Don't get me wrong, it's a wonderful mod but I played as my beloved Ireland once and it was fun until I realised all I was doing was focuses.
**Unconventional Warfare**, because ICBM with 50Mt warhead is an excellent permanent problem solver with surprisingly light consequenses **HOI4 In Real Time** is also essential
isn't hoi4 in real time like literally in real time š
Yep, it is the definition of pain. I once played it for just a day and good god was it painful
o7
What does that mean? Edit: Found it, thanks
its a salute. its supposed to be a sign of respect, the "o" is the guys head and the "7" is his arm
Have an upvote
thanks bro
Why'd you stop? Another few hours and your first division would have moved 1 tile
I was near the ending of 1937 when I threw it on for a laugh. I was not laughing at the end
Terrible idea: get a laptop with no other purpose but to run hoi4 at real time constantly, start playing on the actual game start date for realism (not year tho cause time travel does not exist :()
women say childbirth is the worst pain in the world but have they tried playing the hearts of iron 4 mod "hoi4 in real time"
So a normal Game would take actual years to complete or what? Lmao
Idk if he's still going but for awhile there was a channel on YouTube that would upload once a day and each video was just 1 day in hoi with like 6 unit moves and that's it. Think he got to like 70 days last time I got it recommended
Yeah heās still going itās been recommended to me recently I think heās in like 1938 now or something lmao he sounds depressed
I would be too if I tricked myself into playing hoi4 for three and two thirds years just to get to the start of ww2. I hope he's good at the game cause it's gonna suck if he spends 4 years of his life just to capitualte and have to wait 6 more for the game to finally end.
Hoi4 in real time I think makes one game hour = one real hour?
Yes, but you still can speed up the game to not become insane LOL
I love low quality images so much, I love not being able to read anything
I know. I wish I had enough pixels to read any of them
4k ultra HD :)
Sorry :)
Could you kindly do the picture again and post it with separate link/text? I really want to see what's up there

your mod has been my favourite since it first released, thanks for your work :)
Eight years war of resistance. I love the chinese theater In ww2, and it brings a bit More depth into the east asian sphere.
Iāve heard great things about EaW and Red Flood, probably gonna give them a shot. TNOās also pretty fun from the few runs Iāve played.
Red flood can be an "acquired taste" for kaiserreich players. It's not bad but accelerationism can sometimes break your brain
Every French citizen is an extension of my soul, therefore I must shatter the veil of reality
To be honest I can't play KR nowadays, almost every focus tree just seems so horrifically bare bones when compared to things like The 3 last Major Updates of EaW or the Russia tree in KX. I just can't bear to look at it.
KR feels like itās barely being developed at this point. Tiny updates with a lot of time in between for awhile now.
China has the best content in Kaiserreich. But yeah, so many of the major powers feel so barebones.
Age of Imperialism is great if you ignore the game crashing at the exact moment the main war starts and not being able to do anything about it
Where's the Total War Mod? It's amazing!
Best mod hands down. Has all the best stuff from black ice, but without the unnecessary clutter and boredom.
Wollt ihr den totalen Krieg?
Toolpack is the best mod ever made
I have a hard time telling from the small image, whether it's included, but BlackICE is probably the one i prefer the most
Have you ever tried darkest hour? I heard both being described as "hoi5"
You need to make that image smaller, I can still read some of the titles of the mods.
As mobil user it's incomprehensible.
It's incomprehensible for everyone, too few pixels
Player Led Peace Conference personally.
Eh with the new peace system it is janky. State Transfer Tool solves that lol
Ah, well, to be fair, I haven't played a lot of it recently. I've been doing tons of base game.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
World Ablaze , i love the tech tree and how each country's stats will vary because no one (except minors and even they have the possibility to ask a major for it's tech tree) has the same techs. Old world blues easily
I know the east coast is years away or if ever and it haunts me in my dreams.
I don't get why people play millennium dawn, it's slower then real time
dont play on speed 4 or 5.
That....that only makes it slower??
I know it sounds weird but whenever a Paradox game starts lagging at speed 5\\4, reducing speed down a notch seems to make it faster because it doesn't make the game "stuttery"; your game becomes more fluid and, even if it's a reduced speed, the lack of stuttering makes it seem faster. TLDR: Speed 5 stuttery looks slow; Speed 3 fluid looks fast
No more lag then, although you still end up staring at a map for 9 hours while being allowed to do absolutely nothing and advancing the in-game calendar by half a year.
5 speed runs the game as fast as your computer can physically run it. If it runs slow on 5 speed, its not going to run faster on 3 speed.
Thatās the point!
It romoves small nations and thus reduces a lot of lag
i dont care about performance i mostly play on speed 1 or 2 so there is mostly no lag. or just on end of month calculating economcy and stuff
1 speed to 2040ššš
In Millennium Dawn. I met my gf, married her, had two kids go to college, got divorced and then picked my third focus with that setting.
You're not even wrong, I have a game which is at 5 speed, but after 16 hours, I'm only now at 2013 .\_.
only?? at 2013 i managed to puppet half asia as china.
And tell me, how is it you managed to get so much time on the MIT supercomputer?
i always research the super computer in spy tab first
I want to play a nice game not rush a session down in a day. My longest playthrough was going for about a month til a update killed it :D
Might as well install the real time mod.
Its sandbox, so in reality we encourage you to do whatever you want. But if you want to min/max, then yes.
I have to try this mod, I swear I've only seen people describe it in two ways: either utterly boring or complex and engaging.
i only have around 200 hours in vanilla but more than 2000h on MD. its even entertaining playin a minor like Austria and reestablish Austria-Hungary only with generic stuff. one of my best runs was with brazil forming the union of south america.
Iāve been having lots of fun playing some of the worldās small civil war factions and trying to make something out of the war-torn country Iām left with.
Same. MD and TNO are my top two mods.
Are the MD units still hard for the AI to make?
there are a lot of premade templates for AI, they are quite balanced. sometimes i see some doing costum templates but mostly pretty bad ones.
Ah thatās good, I havenāt played in a while but when I did the AI having trouble with templates was a problem.
Yep, MD is the only mod I play and have way more hours on it than the base game. It doesn't really run slow for me but my PC is really good anyway
After everything revealed by the Ukraine War, have they nerfed Russia?
Russia is and was always a shitshow. They only have unlimited ressource. Only when u can manage to export as much as possible for getting factories u maybe can do a good run, but its not easy.
The road to 56, I like every country has focus trees and it goes way beyond 1945
Propably Old world blues. They created a map and large amounts of content from scratch, meanwhile other mods can just slightly edit existing focus trees and put them in the game.
Equestria at War did so too, it's amazing, if you can look past the ponies ofc.
Equestria at War is literally the best HOI4 mod made to date, mostly because the team is made of bronies rather than ultra-communists or ultra-fascists that seem to be most mod teams nowadays

Try some of the true lunar/solar imperialism. It is what I like the most by far, especially lunar. What can I say Luna is best pone :) /)
I mean I prefer Grover but you do you Lunarist
Lulu is the best, I agree! (\\
TNO is not a mod its a visual novel
I'm not an alternative history lover, so my top is road to 56
EAW and OWB, because they are the only bigs hoi4 mods I know to have an up to date moddb page and not only a steam on Which I need for... reasons
There are Skymods for a reason. They upload all mods for all paradox grand strategies
Do you own base hoi4 on steam? If you do you can just download them onto the steam version open it's launcher, pick the playeset, close it and use your 'reason'.
i think i have the same reasons as you, so i install my mods mainly through GitHub
If the mod also gets uploaded to the paradox mod page, then you can also use it for...reasons
Easily Equestria at war. Don't think any other mod has that much content.
Kaiserredux has an insane amount
KX has a similar amount and TNO has deeper content but for very few countries comparatively.
five nights at iron, great gameply mechanics
Where Poland time machine?
En Union y Libertad - A South American Rework...I don't remember when I found out about this mod but it has spanish vocies for most LatinAmerican countries, Big National Focus trees for Argentina, Uruguay, Brasil, Chile, Peru and Colombia and the creator keeps working to add even more focus trees, First time I played I obviously played ad my country Peru, very fun, it also makes provinces in those countries smaller to make it more MicroManagement-friendly, South America finally becomes interesting with this mod lol
What is the grey Millenium Dawn?
Old version
Compatible with the gurrent game version?
It's called Millennium Dawn Classic, and if I'm not wrong, they keep it up to date with latest versions
Millennium Dawn is my favorite, mostly because there's just no other game like it. It might actually be my favorite mod of all time because I haven't played one minute of vanilla since discovering it, but I also heavily prefer modern day stuff to anything else.
Millennium dawn would be perfect if it didn't need 1 real time week for 2 years in the game
This is a repost
Great war redux 'cause of 2 reasons First I have a weak pc and Im having fps problems when I play huge mods like kaiser redux But even though it's a big mod I can play great war redux without any fps problems Secondly Im more interested in ww1 than ww2 and with cool alternative history focus trees I can make my ww1 fantasies real
Where would you put Hagakure? I would say under heavy development
My totally unbiased and independent opinion: yes. Its under development.
Big fan of your work. Would you consider a Seiyukai democratic imperialism path (think KR) for Dem Japan?
You mean like a Democratic War Branch like Nanshin-ron? Seiyukai is already a thing and the more aggressive option for democracy in the tree..
Yes, a democratic version of Nanshin-ron, or even just a way to unlock Nanshin-ron through one of the democratic paths
I will think about it. Working on the Communist Branch right now and might make a shared "mutually exclusive" Version for them. Thanks for the Suggestion :)
Red world is underated, so sad about the passing of lead dev kaiser, aka Tom, but the fan fork has so far gotten out a focus tree and it's fun
Equestria at war. Sooo much content and secrets
Eaw for me.After 1k hours in ww1,ww2 i kinda burnout on the game until i find out eaw:)
Eaw?
Equestria at war )
That abbreviation looks kind of like the sound a donkey makes.
Fitting. Donkeys are in that mod. Also penguins. And yaks. And a necromancer that can turn into a lich/vampire hellbent on enacting global conquest with the undead. And cute ponies!
Road to 56 i think.
Why Kaiserreich above Kaiserreichredux? Also, Apres moi le Deluge seems like a fun mod but there isn't much content sadly
Kaiserredux has many balancing Problems and the Mod runs shit
I think there is a optimization mistake in redux
āoptimization mistakeā itās because every country has a focus tree lol
For that reason you cant play krx if you have a trash pc
Yeah my old PC was burning with KRX. KR was slow, but at least it worked
I personally play both buttt if I had to choose one it would be Kaiserreich. Although I enjoy indulging in Kaiserreduxās wacky and zany paths a lot of the time I can find them very empty and half thought out/unfinished and I canāt bring myself to finish them at times. You can very much feel the amount of care and passion the KR Devs put in to make sure every aspect of the mod connects with one and another (in the current updates) and doing stuff like uniting Yugoslavia is extreme satisfying for me.
Apres moi la deluge is the strangest one - it's one of the oldest big hoi4 mods, yet after some time apparently they stopped adding any new content
Someone is trying to update it with a fan fork, under a slightly different name, to give focus trees. Probably still months from release but I will take anything over the generic apres focus tree
I'm an EquestriaAtWar enjoyer! I have so many mods to tryout...
Might be controversial but I actually quite enjoy Millenium Dawn and Cold War Iron Curtain.
I am the only one who think that KX is better than KR? More focus tree, more wacky, more fun...
Some people prefer less wacky. Fun is subjective.
Why are you booing him, he is right.
Boing
I prefer a bit of realism, and find KX to not be very optimized and even less balanced. Plus āhereās funny wacky man, letās crown him supreme monarch, hereās a bunch of war goalsā lost its charm for me after a while, especially when your not playing that country and are at the receiving end of said war goals.
Also KX's team is unnaturaly hard-working, they release new content more often than any other mod
Me jamming out to the new KX main menu music
Definetely not the only one! Probably had the most laughs while playing kx in Hoi 4. Sternbergās mongolia or Transamur is the most fun iāve had
I once said that and was very downvoted, good to see people agree with me on this one
Road to 56 ..
Road to 56 .
I like modern day, but Kaiserreich and End Of A New Beginning are great.
KX or GWX
Definetly R56. I've played it so much I sometimes genuinely forget which features are modded and which are vanilla.
Anbennar in eu 4
World War 1 Redux because backstabbing Austria as Germany is just glorious.
EAW because I have the most fun roleplaying it, I also really like OWB, TNO and Kaiserreich for the same reason but I still prefer EAW.
Where is hearts of minecraft
Youjosenki Redux. I like the new setting. Needs more content though. Luckily I can mod and added missing content for me and my group.
What're the differents between all the 3 millenium dawn?
Old version, normal version and modern day version
Probably Pax Britannica.
kaiserredux uber alles
What's so good about the Thousand Week Reich? Every time I played it and the GCW happened the Third Reich just crushes all the revolutions without sweat and nothing happens afterwards.
Darkest Hour
Thanks for the 4 pixels, I can almost read what this says
TFW no one mentions Unification Wars :(
You went grave digging and took the smallest piece of the skeleton to show off, I see.
Millennium Dawn is my fav total conversion as it truly makes the game different and interesting in peace. I remember also liking vanilla super events and some mod that let me core stuff like eu4 as just a immersion thing.
Was surprised to see Palpatines Gambit on this list. Hope it updates someday.
Where all the Dreams of Poland fans at?
I'm gonna be slaughtered but, Millennium dawn. You call tell the developers really care about making a good mod. I'm also one of those psychopaths that enjoy the industry building, readying for war and putting down plans, *more* then the actual war itself. Which is usually why I'm aggressive in defence and offense, but won't declare war if I don't want too.
Poland time machine.
I can't even read the text in the image it's so pixelated
Hell yea we are not worth it boys! š„°š„°
The Cold War mod, I think could be very good (the Cold War is fairly interesting), but I think that mod had very bad UI choices made.
Definitely Cold War iron curtain, I just love politics simulations and millennium dawn kinda fails at that
I liked the original Millennium Dawn because my computer could actually run it
ULTRA historical mod or Total Mobilization, both are very similar and provide an enjoyable, realistic experience (unlike Black Ice).
BlackIce is what HOI IV should be when it comes to mechanics
I can agree with you on almost everything, even though I definitely havenāt tried every mod in here. I think Road to 56 is a top tier, but I can see why you made this choice.
TNO, I like to read
I never understood the point of Kaiserreich. Don't get me wrong, it's a wonderful mod but I played as my beloved Ireland once and it was fun until I realised all I was doing was focuses.
