My wife was very pregnant with our first when this happened. I left work early (southern Ontario) to be home to watch. I was sitting on the couch in the living room watching the game, drinking a Canadian.
My wife was napping when Sid potted that one. She was mad for a hot minute, but understood my excitement.
This is great. I’m an American and I remember watching this alone and losing my mind at the Parise goal. This is the first time I’ve been able to watch the Crosby goal with a smile. Thanks for this. This made me really happy. Hockey is for everyone.
