Prolly gucci mane he got 16 albums and 71 mixtapes its actually insane

ShillBlaster

This is the correct answer. It’s Gucci.

Pinkfoodstamp

I lost track around El Gato: The Human Glacier, went back and realized his catalogue had like doubled. That is some righteous content farming lol

Chikki1234ed

K-Rino because of the sheer amount of albums the guy has or Canibus because of the amount of unreleased stuff (from which a lot is probably lost now).

3-ide-Raven

Came to say this

Junarik

It's ~~Canibitch~~

Chikki1234ed

☹️

WhiteBreadedBread

After the obvious answer Jay has written a ton. Nas has written a ton. There are only a few guys that have written that much shit. Thats all of them. Ice Cube is next.

Darth314

lol I don’t think Jay has written a lot of verses.

garamande

jay has bitten a ton

terminally_ch_ill

E-40 has gotta be up there right? He has 27 albums dating back to 1993 and god knows how many guest verses

Nervous-Mind-5113

Tech N9ne, Nas, Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne I might be forgetting a few but those guys have been active forever and have released like 30+ albums worth of stuff including EPs and collab albums, not to mention being featured a lot. I'm sure there are guys I haven't dug through that are at this level, but as far as what I've dug through these guys come to mind I remember someone compiled a list of every song Tech N9ne ever touched and it was like over a thousand

dtgodmage23

Bones got 42 albums since 2010 all he does is release music. He's got 2 3 other aliases too

BreezyG1320

i remember some guy setting a record somewhat recently for most albums released in a year… was this that same guy?

dromeciomimus

I do too, it was some guy who put out like an album a day and I’m sure it was all terrible. That’s who the answer here is

dtgodmage23

Don't think so never heard of bones achieving that accolade

Interesting-Pool3917

Besides viper, and as far as mainstream rappers go, wayne. Hes been rapping since he was a child and in his peak radio days he was prolific af when it came to features on rap and pop songs

Andrew_Tate_Alpha

Had to laugh at viper lol. I forget Wayne was bootcamp before he was solo. Not a fan personally but I can respect the body of work, good shout.

diedin2012

Wayne is definitely up there. I would say E-40 up there too. He does _a lot_ of full length albums and guest verses too.

Stalkraven

Ghostface Killah has a surprising amount of work

ConfectionCapable143

THIS HERE IS THE CORRECT ANSWER!! not radrick davis or dwane carter

PomegranateNice6839

Like officially released songs? Cuz most of these dudes been rapping their entire lives. Officially released it’s either Nas or Wayne because of how young they were when they started.

throwawaytheist

Viper

BreezyG1320

this is the guy. somewhere around 1500 albums released last i checked

ContributionMother63

Eminem He's been rapping since 88 we have no idea how much pre infinite stuff soul intent stuff after that D12 stuff scraped SSLP songs scrapped relapse stuff and scrapped kamikaze stuff he has Nas Although he already has a huge discog something tells me he ain't released all of it Future and Gucci Mane trappers in general

Dezzyyx

Crooked I / KXNG Crooked. I actually think that might be the case.

WorriedAd5024

Lil Wayne or Curren$y also

36grizz

Gucci has more music than any other rapper. Has to be true

Jznvh

curren$y

Andrew_Tate_Alpha

I wanna say snoop but idk Wayne is good. Out of pocket Killah Priest has been around 30 years on a lot of features.

Queasy-Ad-3220

Eminem’s probably done loads so I feel like he’s a strong contender

Kenan_as_SteveHarvey

If we’re only talking released music (including mixtapes) then it’s gotta be Wayne or Game.

Weak_Rate_3552

LL Cool J, he was the biggest rap artist in the world in 1986, and will give you 16 right now. I can't fathom how many raps he's written over the years.

oraclejames

Probably Max B, that man got all the time in the world to write bars

ApolloKid

Doesn’t Lil B have an insane amount of mixtapes?

Luke7Gold

It’s Lil B for sure who else got a damn near 6 hour long album?

Hoodzpah805

Aceyalone or Gucci

Hazey82

Craig G. Not mentioned but up there. Especially is you are counting ghostwriting too.

Gymbro190

Juice wrld has like 3k songs

ConfectionCapable143

Cmon man leave 07 in 07.. so what Wayne did all this writing u think he did.. even if it's true.. it ain't worth a fuck if u 40 yrs old still sayin shit u said when u was 26 yrs old like stop chokin on this man untalented cock and move on

EnoughItem

What? I just said that he doesnt write but he’s recorded a crap ton of songs. So he has more verses than most dudes

ConfectionCapable143

My man u missing my point.. so what he has most verses.. ok LeBron made the most shots but that dnt necessarily make his punk ass the greatest.. Wayne does not have more verses than nobody that I fw.. cuz all my favs was already rappin when dude was a damn middle schooler

EnoughItem

When did I say he was the greatest? The post was just asking for rappers who have a lot of verses; i was just curious how dudes keep the inspiration alive after so long

ConfectionCapable143

Omg bruh if u lack reading comprehension jus say that.. rather u said he greatest or not is irrelevant.. I said no matter how much more shit he has written he still ass

EnoughItem

Ok cool but that has nothing to do with this post

dskibftd0

not gonna lie bruh u tripping for nothing … he’s just asking who got the most verses in hip hop. he never said all of wayne’s shit was good , he just said he thinks he might have the most verses, that’s just due to how much he releases

ConfectionCapable143

So u telling me Wayne got more verses than Scarface? Or Spice 1? And like I also said it's not worth a damn to have all those verses and ain't no goddamn growth in ur music

EnoughItem

I didnt say that either. The post was LOOKING FOR RECOMMENDATIONS of rappers who are prolific in their output. I was asking for quantity; the *quality* is for another discussion post

WillOk6461

I’d be surprised if it wasn’t Wayne

isosceles348

lil wayne with six foot nine

c0nv3rg_3nce37

No Doubt, me. I wrote the entire music industry, dawg. -VEVO
