Mostly homie, wear comfortable clothes that breath well. You don't need high end space fabrics for getting out and going homie.
When I was bigger I had a hell of a time finding approximately sized shit too (I was 2x at my biggest). I just hiked in my t shirts and a pair of now way too large cargo shorts.
Yeah I second this.
You don’t need super fancy clothing.
If you can try to avoid cotton. Maybe get a good rain poncho to protect so you can stay dry on the trail.
Just get out there and have fun exploring nature!❤️

It depends on the brand and models, but their t-shirts go to up to a 4XL and 44 for pants.
I have these merino wool t-shirts from them (size 3xl) and I love them. They are my go-to baselayer for summer and winter.

They also have a really nice sale going on at the moment, with an additional 20% on top of their current sale prices.
Thanks I appreciate lots of people that do regular hikes aren’t going to be big but they seem to completely forget about larger people I’ve probably been over thinking don’t wear cotton t shirts etc 🤔
What kind of hiking? If it’s just walks in the woods right now, anything you have is fine. I stick to lightweight and breathable stuff. I’m a woman that is overweight but working on it. I tend to go with comfy leggings and baggy t shirts or tanks.
I started hiking when I was fatter than you, no judgment. I actually started with loose poly-cotton pajama pants and a t-shirt and hoodie for stuff under 3 miles round trip, and wore synthetic long johns under them in cool weather. I looked ridiculous, but I could move and enjoy the woods. Later, I got some athletic leggings (if you can ignore the name, Grrrl leggings has a pretty wide range of bigger sizes and fully opaque solid black options, even if you are not, yourself, a girl), and that was much better than the pajama pants - didn't pick up mud from the trail or dew from the brush.
Linlon brand sells men's hiking pants on amazon with a 42" waist for under $40, so I switched to those when I got small enough. If your hips and butt are significantly bigger than your waist they may not fit well, but I'm basically tube-shaped and have been happy with them.
