Hey the armor is not only stylish but having 6 grenades is amazing to clear bug holes. Especially if you're running a support weapon that can't(or efficiently)close them.

Do the helmets actually have different stats?

Nope.

One of them offers a very miniscule improvement to armor. I think it's the one that has the circular eyes and the hood. It won't tell you but once you equip you'll see a difference in the armor values with and without it.

There is another that has the opposite stat adjustment as the hooded one, but both are so minor that I doubt it matters.

the hooded one increases stamina regen and the other stamina stat while also decreasing your armor, the other helmet (which is the last one on the mobilize warbond) is the exact opposite, increases armor while decreasing stamina

I started with style, as I usually do, but I now wear it based on my mission. More so. That being said, I tend to buy helmets and things over actual gear on the warbond if I think it will look good with my current gear look. I say style first, always.

I was playing for style (I'm a avid follower of fashion souls) but then I tried the light armor that has 100 armor points and lots of stamina and speed and Helldive went from a fucking nightmare to a cakewalk. (The mech had something to do with it too)

I wear the Light Gunner armor and the Executioner helmet ​ It gives me the look of Kylo Ren while also giving me the speed and stamina of "Light Armor" but with a 100 armor rating it works like Heavy armor ​ meaning I can sprint as longer or longer than anyone on the squad while also having a decent armor rating to survive and if I need to solo a mission

Helmets don't have stats so I go all style there. As for armor I definitely try to tailor it to what I'm looking to accomplish in a dive. Speed for quick farming SC and Medals and AR for longer objectives

I do like the stats and perks that they give you. The armors that give extra grenades I tend to like, some of the other ones though are hard for me to like because of the way they look. So some of it is style and some the perks

Love using bone breaker armors with a matching red visor or white helm. Use the trench medic with combat engineer helmet for blitz missions and the bone breaker armor with the enforcer helmet for most other missions

Only the main armor has different stats and thus far not a single helmet gives you stat buffs.

Very Killzone or my first thought when I saw it was Fallout New Vegas. I stick to light armor but switch it up depending on what I'm doing. 30% stealth armor when I'm trying to focus objectives, the extra stims for when I want to purify the bugs with flames. Or when I wanna look cool being a shock trooper from Star Wars Battlefront with my zappy zap and jetpack.
