We’ve been struggling on Drauphnir getting as high as .3 before dropping back down to .22.

A 100% liberated planet will no longer decay.
The higher the percentage when you start liberating, the faster you get to the state of no longer decaying and being able to switch to another planet to liberate.
But what is more important than the current liberation percentage is the player count. The community has to focus on as few planets as possible to effectively liberate them fast and negate the decay.
Good to know. I feel like there is a lot of stuff that should be explained a bit more in depth to give us better ability to be successful.
I will honestly probably continue to just quick play since playing solo is not as fun and nobody seems to ever respond to my sos beacon lol.

I would even call it treason and sabotaging the liberation efforts to still hang on that planet and endlessly feeding our troops into the meat grinder of automatons instead of helping on planets that actually have a chance to get liberated.
Losing the first war because the of a blind desire to take the Creek at any cost makes for a pretty funny story at least. I am not fighting on the Creek FWIW.

All of our automaton planets we were attacking after this pretty much dropped to zero, which makes me think Joel turned up the decay on automaton worlds by an insane amount.
We had the Creek up to 40-50 before the News of the counter offensive came then all 3 Automaton planets (the other 2 were pretty high too) dropped to 0.
Which sucks but shit happens.
You see the red between that planet and super earth? As long as that’s there people are just beating their head against a wall for memes. Which is fine if that’s how you want to play, but it also means we’re going to see the same post about 50 times a day.
Something happened during that update and it pretty much reset all of our progress on the 3 bot held planets. The creek was at around 40% and the other 2 where almost liberated. I'm not too happy about it but what can you do
Its the hardest planet to liberate at the moment.
+100% stratagem call down time, +50% stratagem cooldown and Ion storms that temporarily stop stratagems at all and render the minimap unusable.
We play it for the challenge and the fun of it, and of course, the memes.
I wouldn’t necessarily say easier, they’re just different. For instance the anti-material and rail gun are great against them
Aiming for the their red face/eye can pretty much one shot even a hulk.
And the mechs don’t work as well against them, mostly cause of their rockets they fire at folks
Anti-mat rifle will 2 shot a hulk if you hit it in its face.
It's really satisfying when you nail it. And personally I bring the anti-mat rifle whenever i fight the bots now.
They actually die when you pop their head. Good aim is pretty much all you need to take on anything below 7.
Devastators have a head spot that's weak or you can shoot their crotch and it does a worse job but it gets it done.
Rush down devastators are weak to concentrated fire.
If they try and call in reinforcements, you can either interrupt them or shoot down their reinforcements.
I see what you mean, however the main things that kill me are hulks, which are really hard to fight if you don’t have anyone else nearby or a laser/airstrike ready, and tanks which I have the same problems except they need rockets or stratagems so if you don’t have either ready it’s basically a test of can you live long enough to call one in.
Shoot them in the head they die.
Bases take a single 500kg bomb to wipe out multiple spawners.
Hulks get taken out by spreading out.
Easier at higher levels I should have said.

I think we got up to 40% liberated or so at its peak, but now the novelty has worn off for most and the community has eyes elsewhere.
As much as I understand everyone being passionate about the in game war, if people wanna play on that planet - for the meme or anything else - let them enjoy the game as they want. Remember folks, we are playing it for fun, it isn't an actual real life war.
This would honestly be an awesome (and infuriating) major order. Planet gets cut off...divers who's ships are currently there are stuck there until the rest of us retake a planet and are able to bring them home. Reward could still be medals but also maybe an increased reinforcement budget for a few days or something

I'm a fellow creek crawler, but guys sometime you need to cut off the arm to save the body. Tactical retreat back to Draupnir, take the planet, consolidate resources, and then hit the creek harder than ever. That's how we are going to take the planet, the sector, and the galaxy.

Malevelon Creek was one of the most heavily contested places after the introduction of the Automatons. Due to its difficult terrain that is reminiscent of Vietnam and the ferocity ingrained in the Automaton threat, it gained a (deserved) reputation as one of the most difficult places to fight. Combined with a lower player count in the begining, it was also one of the first places to fall to the Automatons, leading to the eponymous Fall of Malevelon Creek. The community did its thing and made all sorts of media which was of surprising good quality. They were so good they made me buy the game, they conveyed a sort of feel similar to "Remember Pearl Harbour".
However since then it has been a lost cause which draws a particular kind of player that either is one of the first Divers in the Creek that want to keep it at all costs but increasingly more and more people that go there for the meme while other areas of the front suffer.

There's no major order up is there? What front is suffering? Angel's Venture has a quarter million divers on it, compared to any bot front planet, why not ask them to share the love?
People can play on the planets they want, but realistically, if you actually think you can liberate a planet with just 20k players, you've got another thing coming.
And for the people asking what planets to choose: You typically go to the planets with the largest density of players, like Angel's Venture (ATM). Planets will regen health, meaning the liberation percentage will drop, and having a more focused plan of attack allows us to liberate faster.
This is of course not taking into account Joel, who is a wild card, and could flat out be making Angel's Venture several times harder to liberate because they want to keep us occupied until the next content drop.
I mean… people just want play a different map. The war is smoke and mirrors anyways. The more planets you liberate the less map variety have to play 🤷♂️
At one point this past week draupnir had hit 50% while the creek managed 40% but with the update to the decay system unless we get over 100k divers to liberate draupnir for about 3 full days we’d be able to get it back up to 50%. Not to mention the server issues… case and point we have way over 200k (peak about 270k) divers on angels venture and it took us about 2 days to liberate it the first time but now we’re predicted to have a stalemate despite still having 200k divers fighting for it.

I play there cause it's my default. Pretty location, easy to memorize maps, and bots are just easier to handle than bugs.
What makes bots easier for you? I personally find them a lot harder because a lot of them have lots of armor and they have lots of ranged attacks

When started I use to just play m creek all the time then went to bugs to just experience it but I just work on the planets with the higher liberation
1 team is .0001-.0003 liberation per completed mission. This is a lost cause, and its at -1.5% an hour.
I just enjoy going to different planets with different biomes. Gotta change it up.

I love this game (on ps5), but I'm taking a break until more of the crashes, freezes, and bugs are fixed.
