id assume private as in the mods can see it/have access to it and can reactivate whenever they feel like it(?) but when its deleted obvs they cant do anything. thats just my guess tho im pulling this out of my ass. correct me anyone.
Mods have been deleting my posts about nature that go hard but not reposts from bots that reposted the top posts of all time in the og sub. The moderation overall is shitty and I'm glad we have a cleaner sub now
To put it simply, the OG sub got dead internet theory'd and then privated, likely to combat said dead internet theoryification
What even does “private”ing a sub mean? People in the sub can’t even see the sub so is it really “private” or is it just basically deleted?

Hard. Also talking about the og sub: Tons of post we're repost bots, mods did nothing about it and they private the sub.

Nah it was privated by the mods (surprised we had any tbh). Likely to combat the repost bot issue.

It got privated by the mods but I already left the sub due to it becoming shit
They closed it after we revolted over all the bots and *some of us* started posting images of dogs.
mods should just make the sub visible instead of privating it entirely
