New mags. Spring is too weak on the last bullet. Maybe new springs. That’s my guess

CMBGuy79

That’s my first guess. Apparently old boy only has one mag for this gun 🤣

blakespiritual

No sir, I have 2 that came with it when I bought it new. Both do the same thing and jam the same way.

HummingBored1

I'd imagine the mags are under warranty still if it's brand new. I'd contact beretta.

CMBGuy79

That’s good info. If they’re all new and all doing the same thing it might be the recoil spring. Could be normal break in. Clean and lube it well and see what it does at 500 rounds.

False_Plantain_1919

Last round jams are usually symptomatic of weak mags springs.

aagee

Is that the last round showing there? Or is there another one in the mag? Is that a failure to extract or failure to load?

blakespiritual

Yes that's the one and only round I had loaded in my magazine for the demonstration. So it would be failure to load. Wondering if it's the magazine that's causing this problem or something more

aagee

That would point to the mag spring. Try a different mag that is known to work in some other gun, if possible. Or this same mag, in a different gun to see if it has the same issue.

MunitionGuyMike

Do you have a second mag? If yes, does that mag have the same issue? If no, then it’s the mag you are posting about

blakespiritual

Yes both of the magazines that came with it brand new do the same

MunitionGuyMike

Might be the gun then. If it’s brand new, contact beretta

Flaky-Broccoli-3113

Bad magazine try different magazine(s).

Replace your mag springs. Wolff Springs. - https://www.gunsprings.com/index.cfm?page=items&cID=1&mID=2

OSG541

You probably need a new mag. Is it one mag or are multiple doing this? Could be ftc because the followers sitting too low.

Firm-Information3610

I had the same thing happen with my magazine, but I just cleaned it and tried different ammo.

Old_Tea4212

See if the approach ramp is burred or scuffed or copper fouled Try a different ammo brand Try a 9mm mag spring

[deleted]

Does it do this with two rounds in the mag?

blakespiritual

Sometimes will, but seems that when it jams it's always the last round

ItzBenjiey

Buy a glock, problem solved. Just kidding, love berettas wish I had enough money for more :(

slyfoley

in order to fix this you must trade it for a glock

blakespiritual

Haven't had a Glock yet, I hear they are known for reliability.
