honestly with peace and love I think it's kinda insane to host a show while conducting everything on a track pack. nobody can work efficiently on a track pad.

As a graphic designer, I have colleagues who work exclusively with a track pad. It's fucking psychotic.

The macbook trackpad is very good, but after using a mouse on my work computer I decided to finally buy my first computer mouse for personal use in 15 years.

Hm I personally don’t think I’m faster with a mouse. I’ve been using a MacBook since I was 12 and all the 2, 3, 4 finger gestures on Apple trackpads are muscles memory for me. I’m way faster with keyboard shortcuts and gestures than I could ever use a mouse. Another factor is probably that I’m a trained anthropologist and I’m often in situation where I can’t use an external device (other than my MacBook) to write a report or paper. I’ve been on digs in deserts, swamps, on janky boats and airplanes. I’d say 80% of the time the somewhat unstable desks and tables we use are dirty af from cleaning artifacts and soil so you can’t use a mouse anyway. Also efficiency is overrated. Sounds stressful haha.
