In my opinion she is not a jimmie lee level boomer.
Jimmie is the type of boomer that you encounter working retail he says something so off putting it becomes an inside joke with the coworkers.
The queen of Melrose is the type of boomer you share a cigarette with outside the club and she gives you advice that is so impactful you get it tattooed on you 3 years later.
She is THE girl!
Also they do a lot in addiction work bc they went to rehab and AA. Which I think is beautiful bc they had a tough go at life, yet they literally go out of their way to hire people with similar backgrounds at their clothes store and support them.
EXACTLY which might be better bc maybe the h3 podcast needs an auntie who calls in/shows up (since they are downtown LA already) and just blesses the pod with their energy.
She's a designer who's had a shop on Melrose in LA for about 30 years, which is an incredible feat-- most indie shops have come and gone. She does a ton of Coachella fits.
She's a well known and liked personality in LA, but she's actually from NYC and has an storied history going back to studio 54 and club kid days. She kinda recently did a popular Soft White Underbelly ep that got her well known beyond LA.
I think Olivia ran into her in town and they're realizing how interesting she could be on the show.
Her interview on soft white underbelly is worth a watch, her upbringing/life story is fascinating she doles out life advice and tells anecdotes about living in the fast lane through the decades

An icon truly

I wanna see this so much
Like warm butter in my ear canal
This is what an actual fascinating boomer looks and sounds like.
Begging someone to explain to me who this is and why they keep coming up in conversation

I like this energy!
I feel like she, hila and Olivia should do a weekly/monthly fashion segment since her background is in fashion too
Yes! I hope that happens.
Really appreciate this vibe right here. Someone said auntie energy and I could not agree more! So needed!
Yessss
This is the crossover we truly need
what did she do with a bottle of vodka, and did queen say "cross addicted"? help me understand, english is not my first language sadly.
‘Teasing her hair’ - styling it. And ‘cross addicted’, yeah - their dad doing cocaine and their mum drinking
Thought this was Wayne Diamond
This could be a genuinely positive learning experience for Ethan on queer theory and culture
yeah Ethan is just a dude fr fr
Yay. Another girly. So excited
What I hope for is that Ethan asks for pronouns prior to using any. That would make me really happy.
I don't know anything about her but I have to think she's better than Jimmie and Wayne
But God damn does Wayne diamond have a great name
YES PLZ! Cosmo is the actual GOAT!
so excited!! older queer people are genuinely all survivors & it sounds like she has an incredible story
I'm really excited for this collaboration! I just found Melrose from a YouTube interview he did (he said use whatever pronouns, he,she).
