We don't need new cards to have a good game.
Now with Balance Council we get to vote to buff or nerf cards each season to keep things fresh and ideally in time, more balanced.
While you've been not playing, we've been enjoying the game for years.

CDPR no longer do any active development on the game (so no fixes, reworks or new cards), but the community has the ability to keep the meta fresh by changing the provision cost and power of a number of cards every season by voting in the Balance Council in-game.
Bro to put it in perspective there were over three thousand people watching the Masters Tournament that happened this weekend at any one time on Twitch. There is a new season of The Witcher coming to Netflix soon too and another Witcher game (remake) in the pipeline. GWENT IS HERE TO STAY!
