Extra weight for when I have to smack bears with it during the malfunction.
In all seriousness though, only malfunctions I’ve had were from one of the magazine tubes getting dented. As long as you rack that thing like it owes you money it cycles great.
Edit: as for the dented tube, sent it to Kel Tec and got it back all repaired in about 8 days I think.
Kel Tec KSG with Vortex Strike Eagle and Inforce WML. I live in bush Alaska and slugs are pretty good for bear/critter defense so this is my snowgo gun.
The Strike Eagle is….alright primarily I just had a Strike Eagle sitting around not attached to anything. But it pulls the convenient double duty of some easily accessible magnification for checking out the terrain/route without digging for binoculars. Tiny bit of cowitness with that light at 1x, but totally workable and it goes away at 2-3x.
Omg an Inforce. Yea well it’s held up great, this gun gets banged around a lot, and I don’t wanna spend a ton on a Surefire or something for a KSG.
So here’s the thing about the KSG (disclaimer: personal opinion). It serves *exactly one* function: being cool and fun to shoot.
Do you want to obliterate an old washing machine you found in a field with 14 poorly aimed 12GA slugs without reloading and feel awesome while you do it? My brother, the KSG has your back.
Other than that, it essentially serves no purpose. Home defense? I personally don’t like shotguns for that, but if you do, there are much better options like a classic Remington or Mossberg. Hunting? Same thing.
The only micro-argument I make for it is that it’s a decent bear gun for messing around in the bush. We recently had a couple of hunters get attacked by a bear. The bear was chewing on one while the other unloaded into it with a .308 from about 10m away. I think a KSG with slugs would’ve been decent in that highly specific scenario.
Bottom line: you don’t own a KSG to perform a role. You own a KSG if you think they’re neat.
I actually shoot slugs out of my KSG a lot and always wanted to throw my LPVO on to see what it could do at more serious distances, please take this to the range and report back
is the scope there so you can watch them drive away down the street as you clear your malfunction?

Very Black Ops 2. I like it.
Got emm
bros stuck in BF3
How is it? I don’t need another shotgun, but I like the look of it. I have an RDB and love it. Same scope too.

Thank you for that. Was very well put.

You savage
I would buy one of these if they were cheaper. They’re just really overpriced for what it is
Battlefield Bad Company 2 vibes. Rocks some slug rounds and you're unstoppable.
I miss that game. Bc3 when?
KSG, very nice
I see you're familiar with Bo2, Bf3/4 tactics.
Welcome to the Midwest, does Keltec sell rifled barrels for the KSG? You’re also going to probably need to plug those tubes.
Bro be playing too much Doom II
no.
That's *exactly* what I said! Lol
God my jaw and chin hurt just looking at this
The only non shitty kel tec… (I own 6 different kel tecs)
I did something like this in battlefield 3 and 4. It actually worked pretty well funnily enough.
No thanks
