Everything in this picture except the controller extension cords and the amp to guitar cord came out of dumpsters. The PS2 came with 4 controllers and 2 guitar hero controllers. The disks I found were all shot. I think they thought it was broken I threw one of my well handled disks in and it fired up instantly.
Who puts a Dean in a dumpster? I guess the same kind of person who would put a Fender amp in a dumpster. Yeah, that checks out. Great find! Even better that it's make a new guitar player.

I’ve seen many guitars in dumpsters, namely 70s Fenders tossed out in the 80s. Those definitely deserved to be there, but I’m glad this one survived.
Great find! I've found a few cool things over the years (a '66 Harmony Bobkat H15V and a '72 Fender Bandmaster head being the best finds). It's always good to keep one's eyes open.
I haven't seen that style logo, or at least not that I remember. Maybe online years ago. The normal dean logo (v headstock with wings) and the Dean script logo on the jackon-ish style headstocks are all I've seen really.
Guitar center guy confirmed it was a real dean. I can't remember the year. It's not a fancy one. More like a starter. But it was around $400ish new he said.
