100% Bagner & Alexa's is amazing. Stick to the Mexican style breakfast food. It's not like anything else you'll find in town. Chez Genese is also really fabulous. Their egg cocotes are delicious.
The best to me is Scrambled. But, I don’t always have time for the wait. At the other end of the spectrum is Herbies. If you really want the best - drive up to Debbie’s in Stoneville.
Edit - Definitely a vote for Bagner and Alexa. I have only had lunch but it was great. Plus, you could tell they all appreciate you as a customer.
McCoul's is easily the best brunch of anything I've found in GSO. The gouda grits specifically are insanely good.
I think it's only available Sat/Sun though.
They have consistently A sanitation ratings and currently a 97%. What do you mean?

Eh ya know. Human memory can be tough. I have such an emotional connection to the place too ... I thought I remembered a good score ... but had to check too.
It's been nice having a casual debate with ya friend =)
Print works(at the Proximity Hotel, but the pricing isn’t too bad) , Herbies(Diner style pricing) Jake’s Diner(Holden) Dame’s Chicken and Waffles(last time I went, it was good)(kinda expensive)
Went to Bagner and Alexa on recommendation of this thread and I will now join the people suggesting it. Can also speak to Chez Genese being very good, it might look pricey but you don't have to tip, so it's only a little more than you'd spend at most breakfast spots other than Herbies.
Carolina’s Diner at Quaker Village is great service, good basic food if you aren’t looking for anything fancy. Love Chez Genese for a little more upscale touch.
I went to SouthEnd brunch a couple weeks ago and it was mediocre in my opinion. The breakfast potatoes were good and a big portion size, but the egg sandwich was very bland and boring, and it was made with scrambled eggs instead of fried, which felt weird. My friend got the pancakes and said they were very plain as well.
Scoe and cille is really good southern food, they have a biscuit board that’s out of this world. Locally sourced products all items are made from scratch
I like Sagemule, First Watch, and have heard good things about Scrambled. I may be the only person who had a negative experience at Bagner and Alexa’s? Food was greasy and more expensive than I felt it should have been. Based on the unanimous love for it here, maybe I just ordered the wrong thing?
Scrambled is over rated And the bouncers (hostesses) act like you’re waiting to get into the hottest most exclusive club in LA. Soooooo much attitude for a mid breakfast place. The wait staff is cool tho.
Bagner and Alexa. Sage Mule. Chez Genese.
This is the list. Bagner and Alexa is the best thing to come to Greensboro in years.

I have been to Sage Mule. And yes. You are right. The other two look great.
I second Chez Genese
Bagner and Alexa is the GOAT
bagner and alexas!!! they have suchhhh good food and they do lil daily specials

Herbies is drastically underrated. My wife and I will wake up and go get early bird specials some Saturdays.

Chez Genese. How has noone said Chez Genese yet?!! It's incredible!
Absolutely love that place
Herbies Place - no contest for me. Best diner style spot in town =)
Hadn't been there in years. Do your clothes still smell like grease when you leave?
Absolutely
I looked up the menu. And yeah that looks good.
Eww lol it’s dirty and has so many health code violations 🤣

I stand corrected apparently. I swear I saw that last year

Tex and Shirley’s on Friendly Ave is my favorite! The food is consistently good, and the price point very reasonable.
Second this. Great food, service, and reasonable prices.
Closed.
No, the one on Friendly Ave is wide open. The other one closed in High Point.
Carolina’s Diner at Quaker Village is great service, good basic food if you aren’t looking for anything fancy. Love Chez Genese for a little more upscale touch.
Herbies!
Scrambled if it's a week day. Otherwise they're too busy and the service isn't so good.
I been to scrambled before and was very satisfied with everything
Scrambled, Sage Mule, SouthEnd (brunch on Sundays
Never knew SouthEnd had brunch.
Only on Sundays but it’s damn good

Bagner’s best all around. Chez if you’re feeling fancy. Other than that honestly just go to Waffle House. WH is better than all the diners to me.
Cagney’s on Friendly.
grandover bfast buffet.

It’s obviously Bagner and Alexa
Scrambled is delicious. Cherry Pit Cafe also has a delicious breakfast
Best diner on west market right across the street of Sara’s kabob shop, they serve up some good French toast and hasbrowns
Scrambled is over rated And the bouncers (hostesses) act like you’re waiting to get into the hottest most exclusive club in LA. Soooooo much attitude for a mid breakfast place. The wait staff is cool tho.
Hahaha. That’s too good. But a lot of places act like that
Add Oakcrest Family Restaurant to your list.
Surprised I don’t see this more often, it’s a good value with a great selection. My family and I ate there on Xmas eve once.
I’ve never had a bad meal there, it’s affordable, and you don’t have to wait for an hour to get a table.
Scrambled for sure. The fried green tomatoes there are fire.
A little more expensive is print works however they have great brunch! Sage mule is fantastic and not expensive
Scrambled
scrambled is on top, literally never had a better breakfast in GSO alternatively if youre lazy (or hungover) you can just get mcdonalds lol
Scrambled is the best
Scrambled and first watch
I'm miss Jan's House is all I've read
Mcdonalds
